    I left her alone as I was going bed shopping and then "bed testing" ;) so the last thing on my mind was supervising her.

    She had the two weeks that I was in Cali to do everything. As to leaving her alone with my stuff, I told her that she could take anything she wanted, except my computer. So her stealing something wasn't a concern.

    Yikes, my ex and I broke up (after 7 years) last september. I moved immediately, but left some of my stuff there for a loong time. I really wasn't trying to be bitchey though, my dad was going through chemo (who I lived with), and then my car was totaled, so I had stuff to do. Sounds like this chick is just spiteful though. Hmmmm.

    I cannot imagine having to live with your ex after what I am assuming was a long time for two months while you wait for her to save up money. Did she have no where else to go? You must be a glutten for punishment ;)

    my ex and I split almost 5 years ago and I still had some of his stuff stored in my house. I'm a stupid idiot who is too nice. seems you may be in that boat as well! i could never throw someone's stuff to the trash.

    I broke up with her, and I am definitely guilty of being too nice! I just got off of the phone with her (idiot that I am) and agreed to box up her remaining items and have her pick them up. I can't throw shit away either. I want to at least try and remain friends with her (seeing how we were together for almost 10 years) but she certainly isn't making it easy.

    She could have moved in with her new "friend" but she didn't want to do that as it was too soon. Once everything went down I knew that I would never be open to reconciling with her, so as to us living together I would simply never see her. I would be asleep when she left for work and then I would go out after work until 3 a.m. hours after she would go to bed.

    I found that it was much easier to be civil with my Ex after all of our stuff was split up (except my couch which he is still using, but I don't need at the moment).

    10 years is alot of history, if you want to be friends with her give it some time. Sounds like you are rightfully po'ed at her for leaving her stuff.
