Why do people get jealous?

This is not happening to me personally, as in they are not contacting me personally, just spreading shit around. Gossip. Just like what I said to rar-arar, so I know the difference.
And people will always be jealous of someone else's happiness. Me, being pretty happy about the person that I am, am not jealous of other's happiness. I tend to just make myself a part of it. You are right, there is not sense in wasting energy being jealous...that bitter twisted circle.
I draw beautiful, happy people to me. People that care for me and I can care for. In my real life it is more important than ever now. I am proud of that...that I have these people in my life. And I am proud of the people I have collected here as 'friends'.
Anyway...it is raining here and it makes me sad once in a while.

Oh I KNOW people talk about me in pm's and that's fine... people who haven't met me, I take it anything but personally and find it funny how they can often be the quickest to presume they know me HOW could ya take that shit personally? I mean, I can see how I can rub people up the wrong way... here and in real life... but that's just how I am. If I've something to say I'm gonna say it whether you like it or not... if ya don't like it, you're not my kinda person anyway

So yeh, jealousy is an easy way out to explain people not liking ya.

Oh I know that... which is why I don't equate post number to popularity... it just means I've probably acknowledged or chatted to or become friends with more people than the rest of yas.

I am shocked too. Rargh is one of the sweetest people on here..OMG I laughed at the want ads comment. I should have quoted Rargh directly as I really liked it.. it was very well said... but yeah I am just shocked that someone would be nasty to Rargh?? :( but then again I have discovered some people are just asses.

oh there's definitely cliques for the past couple of months... it's gone quite weird and schoolish at times.
