OMG!!! i can't believe Amir just beat CB... i thought it was a great fight, both fighters doing well (amir was doing pretty good off of his back aswell). And then that arm bar was awsome.
i change my prediction to jess getting kicked off and Amir/CB being the final. Is it too late to change my prediction??? lol
edit: damn that cut under amir's eye was huge"I'll ride the wave where it takes me"

She's Bbbbaaaccckkk!!!
I have officially recovered most of the way from Bonnaroo. It's been a crazy couple of weeks for me, so I missed a couple of the TUF episodes. But I'm looking forward to this Tim vs CB fight to see who will replace Jesse Taylor in the finals!0 -
That was a decent size cut under Amir's eye. Whoever the doc was that was sewing it up did a good job. But Amir will have a lot of scar tissue there for awhile ... probably won't play a factor in the finals but always a possibility.0

welcome back from roo releash. I'm still really envious that you got to enjoy what sounds like one helluva show. OT did you happen to see sigur ros?
if you missed some of the shows there is a marathon on spike on saturday replaying the season..."I'll ride the wave where it takes me"

I did catch Sigur Ros, though I was outside the tent on the grass and really still in a daze from the PJ show. I hadn't listened to them much, but liked what I heard. Great way to wind down from PJ.
Thanks for the heads up on the marathon. I'll have to tivo the episodes I missed since I have to work on Saturday, but I'll be off in time for the finale show.0 -

that was great! i was thinking that amir was on his way to losing the fight, and then the armbar!
another good one going on now after the weird circumstances with jesse. ceg, you called it!(you too leafs
)
...and welcome back releash! nice to have your professional opinion back "roo"! look forward to hearing about the show. ")0 -
that was a great fight, like dana said it could have went either way. I really don't know about the decision because i can see the win for both fighters really. CB seemed to control the fight a bit better with the takedowns but on the feet Tim seemed to have great counter punching. CB did great on the feet aswell though so i can't disagree at all with the decision.
I really hope that these 2 fights made CB lose a bit of his ego. He got caught in the 1st fight because he even said that he underestimated Amir and left the arm in there. Don't ever underestimate, he should have learned a huge lesson there. The 2nd fight he fought a guy who he should have killed on the feet and didn't. He did great in the 2nd fight by using his takedowns to literally win the fight for him.
Should be a great fight in the finale and i'm pretty sure i'm going to go with CB by decision."I'll ride the wave where it takes me"

ya that's what i was thinking. After such an intense show that PJ put on, i figured Sigur Ros would be a perfect way to end the end. Even more envious you saw 2 of my top 5 favourite bands ever in the same night."I'll ride the wave where it takes me"

+1 over here on pretty much all of that.tim was pretty impressive with his stand up. looked like he'd been working it a lot after the show. very surprising.
i'm looking forward to this rematch at the finale!
...i'm going to go with amir, though0 -
Good to be back Mookie! I missed you guys!
I'm not sure that the finale will go a decision. If it does, I think it'll be reminiscent of the Bonnar v. Griffin war on TUF1. If CB has been knocked down a peg or two, then I think I'll go with CB by TKO. Amir is crazy tough though ... this one is hard to call.
I'm definitely going to check out more of Sigur Ros. Any recommendations of where to start with their catalog?0 -

I'm hoping for Amir by TKO but really CB looked great in their fight until he got caught. If Amir has really worked on his takedown defence, there is a very good chance he could win. But like i said, i'm going to go with CB. You are right, it could go either way and hopefully turns out to be like Bonnar/Griffen.
umm it all depends on what you are into. If you want the most relaxing music that you will float away to then go with (). It was the 1st full album i heard of theirs and had to hear everything else after that. If you want a bit more "poppy" but still absolutly amazing go with Takk. It's not really poppy, just that's how i describe it compared to () and Agentis Bryjun. I'd recommend either of those for a first time listener. Agentis is a great album aswell though and is their 1st that was amazing. Oh and they have a new cd coming out on monday
edit: I forgot to mention their movie Heima. It is one of the best music dvds i have. Not only is the music good, the cinematography is absolutly amazing. If you ever get the chance make sure to check it out."I'll ride the wave where it takes me"

looks like the card for the finale is set. as of now they have riddle vs. rivera on the main card...seems strange they would show that over a few of the undercard bouts. rivera's style seemed a little...well...boring, on the show. i think it's a three hour show, though, so there's a good chance for a couple of pre-lims.

yeah, not quite the blockbuster news most people were speculating about, but i do think it's a good move in terms of international growth. lorenzo would likely be more inclined to do well with development in new markets in other countries, and it sounds like they have numerous countires in mind to host shows in the next couple of years.0 -
