So Sox locked up the best analyst in the game to now do TV next year. Steve Stone.
The article I read about it though had to put Brenley in the same category which I don't agree with at all. It said the Cubs were thinking of bringing Stone back IF Brenley didn't resign. But now Chicago has the 2 best analysts in the game. Brenley? I'd take Steve Stone any day of the week.0 -

I really liked Stone on the radio...is DJ replacing him now?Bob Loblaw's Law Blog: "Why should YOU go to jail for a crime someone else noticed?"0 -

They offered DJ the radio booth, but he hasn't given them an answer yet. I'm pumped to heard Hawk and Stoney next year.0 -
amazing to think that the bullpen used to be one of the team's strengths earlier this season. and buehrle should've gone atleast 7 last night. He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.0

Joe Nathan is doing everything he can to give the White Sox the Central title
Magic Number down to 10 with 13 games to play.www.myspace.com/pitheory0 -
What a game tonight...and to see the Twins lose in the 11th was golden.Bob Loblaw's Law Blog: "Why should YOU go to jail for a crime someone else noticed?"0

It was a great night all around. Floyd pitched great and to see the Twins lose like that was a wonderful thing. Can't believe Nathan blew that game....don't see that too often.0 -
Great to see Konerko back in the lineup, and hitting. Swisher has been struggling bad, so it's a definite need to have Konerko back and swinging well. In my opinion, Floyd is the ace of the staff. Vazquez has better stuff, but can be inconsistent. Floyd usually keeps this team in position to win games. Appears Clayton Richard is starting tonight, so it might be a rough one.
And yeah, thank god the twins lost. I was so pissed at cleveland for blowing an 8-1 lead at home, but v-mart made up for it. Lee is going tonight, hopefully he gets his 23rd W.He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.0 -
Magic Number down to 9 as the Twins seem to want nothing to do with Postseason play.www.myspace.com/pitheory0

Yeah, it's too bad we can't take advantage of it. This team is so maddening to watch. ONe day, they look like they've put it together and one day they look lost. Mike fucking MacDougal last night?????? Are you fucking serious??? We're in a pennant race and MacDougal is the guy you bring in with runners on in a tie game. I know the bullpen has struggled, but there has to be a better option than that.0 -
We're slumping, and now I have to endure Ed's shitty cubs song on the radio?
Just great.
I wrote a song about the cubs too.....I call it "Fuck off cubs fans"0 -

I totally agree. The sad thing is, there really isn't anyone to bring in. Dotel and Linebrink keep giving up homers. Everyone else walks the first batter Ozzie brings them in to face, and then give up a two out, two strike, two run double. It's getting very frustrating. Atleast they're out of New York, although now they play those pesky Royals. These are the games they MUST win.ewokpelts wrote:We're slumping, and now I have to endure Ed's shitty cubs song on the radio? He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.0 -

Yeah, I love Ed, but that song is just awful. It's catchy, but the lyrics are pretty cheesy.
I have absolutely no confidence in this team. Call me a pessimist, but I am completely expecting a collapse and not going to the playoffs.0 -

Yeah, that song is annoying. I mean, the man is a great musician, so obviously it's gonna sound good. But those lyrics...gross. At Chicago 2 of Eddie solo, I had to piss real bad and when he started introducing this song, I figured this was my chance after having to endure the whole thing the night before. Seriously, the entire bathroom was Sox fans, singing Let's Go Go White Sox and talking shit. I do try and stay away from all that Cubs/Sox bs cuz it's just tiresome and endless. But if EV writes a song called Someday we might, possibly, maybe, dear god hopefully go all the way, you're open to a little criticism.
If I ever meet eddie, I'm going to say " I love you as a musician and a human being, but fuck you and fuck the cubs".
The ONLY redeemign factor is that the song isnt as shitty as Billy Corgan's Black Sox. Which is a song that starts out talking about the Black sox, but ends up being an ode to cubby buttfuckery.0 -

That's a real intelligent post. Why don't you go back to your douchebag Twins thread? Oh yeah, because you're the only one there....it prob gets a little old talking to yourself.0 -

Sux fans arrested in attempting to stab a first base coach = 2
Twins fans arrested for attempting to stab a first base coach = 0.
Intellegence is clearly on sux fans' side. :rolleyes:No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.0 -

Absolutely nothing to do with any of the Sox fans here or the team whom they support.
Like Indifference71 said, go talk to yourself in your Twins thread and pray the Twins don't continue sucking slightly more than the "Sux".0 -

First of all, they weren't Sox fans. They were fuckin drunk rednecks, I'm sure you know plenty yourself up der in Minny eh? They admitted to having been at Wrigley earlier that day drinking too. I thought you were better than that, but you really don't know shit.
Hey, remember when those intelligent Twins fans almost caused their own team to forfeit earlier this year by throwing baseballs onto the field? They were mad about a call and threw a little hissy fit. Real smart doods. He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.0
