    Palladium is a nice platinum alternative. It's a little more costly than white gold, but it stays white forever (while some white golds tend to warm up after years of wear).

    I like white gold best because 1.) it stays shiny forever and 2.) I like the warmth...it actually looks better with my skin tone. And you can always get it plated again if you want it to become whiter.

    don't know if this was mentioned cause I have not read this whole thread but I see people have the engagement and wedding band on wrong (as far as how I was taught). The band is first on the finger and then the engagement ring and I see it the other way around all the time. I was always told the band is first so it is closest to the heart...............


    anyway--this may not even be relevant to this thread!!

    Thats it! I had the operation done on my genitals a few years back. It is indestructable...unless you bring alcohol into the equation. I found out during a few embarassing situations that Alcohol is like adamantiums kryptonite.
