Lets hope he provides some kind of additional spark. They need it.0 -
Essentially getting Ozolinsch for the 3rd round draft pick which they got yesterday for Ville Nimminen.
At least they added to the D.
The D has looked very tired the last few games ( 0-3 )
Rozsival, Strudwick,Kaspar & Tyutin can only do so much,
with that lethal sniper Malik out .

I doubt Jagr was "cheating" intentionally, but nonetheless after getting caught once, he should have done something about it.
To be honest,I would just be happy if they make it to the second round....I dont think anyone expected them to do this well. They should be all set for the years to come.
Hope they snap the losing streak real quickIf a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?0 -

I agree on all but 1 of your points.
I also hope they snap the 3 game losing streak- NOW
I agree that nobody expected them to do this well.
I respectfully disagree with being happy simply making it to the second round.
Getting to & winning Lord Stanleys Cup will be the only thing that will erase the last 7 seasons ( 8 years with the lockout ). That Garden has been just 1 miserable place.

Lets Go Rangers !
Enjoying the rare nice day out on the Island. Lets hope they snap back tonight. Philly already did us a favor and lost to Buffalo today, so thats good. Here's to hoping for back to back wins though. I'd hate to see them lose tomorrow night in person.0 -
its looking more and more like the olympic break was the worst thing ever for our beloved Rangers.
how many times can Sykora miss the net today? Geesh !
And again, if teams consistantly put 2 guys on Jagr, doesnt that mean that somewhere on the ice, theres someone open and not covered ? Just some random thoughts...
c'mon boys- enough already

They gotta change something up. Juggle the lines around, something, anything. Hopefully once Prucha comes back, that'll help. He's like the new Graves, just plop down in front of the net and try to get the rebounds or redirections. I don't see anyone really doing that as much now. Lets hope they figure something out this afternoon. I'd hate to see them lose in person. Curious who will be in net though.
But as always,
LETS GO RANGERS!!!0 -
i'll be there today with my girlfriend.
please win, Rangers, so that i can go home and watch the sopranos in peace of mind.Dont forget to set your DVR's or VCRs, everyone !
cheers !

hell of a time to start this losing bullshit ... better wake up quick or all the hard work will go up in flames0
-
Its starting to get regoddamndiculous. We had that game and a bunch of stupid, and some BS penalties, cost it for us.0
-
fuck
the olympics fucked us all around
lets take some more stupid penalties in sudden death overtime
( kaspar- the idea is to keep the puck on the ice- just push it down the other end )
geesh
good thing i got home in time for the sopranos or the night wouldve been a total disaster
( that fog last night was brutal- especially on the belt --OMG )
im supposed to go next monday again to see boston- hopefully they will have gotten their shit together by then !

I made it home just in time for The Sopranos too! Savard scored, I just got up and left en masse with everyone else. Ran down the stairs and into Penn and just caught a train leaving for my station. I hope they pull it together. Tough game against Carolina coming up away.0
-
nothing to bring away from that game,
besides these photos i took
oh well
wouldve been better if they had won, but oh well.
that little guy coming out in between periods scooping the ice shavings up was probably the most enjoyable thing on the ice yesterday.
And check out that shot of Darius right after he got called for scooping the puck out into the crowd.
lets go,
rangers!yes kaspar you did it
