    Woah..you were in a relationship for 12 years...and you're 25?!

He was four years older... our ages made our relationship hard from the begining. We were actually together for 6 years straight and off and on for another 6 years. It was hard to let go of someone that was in my life for so long.. but It needed to happen.
    Nice to know you.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

You are young. That was a long relationship. I wasn't in my relationship nearly as long and feel it was 4 years down the crapper but Im still young..there is time to find the "real thing"

So yeah travel and experience life, I plan too :)
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

Oh dunkalicious surely mrs dunk is worth it :)

I'm not gonna lie, my ring was expensive but I didn't get it because it was expensive. Quality, and warranty are important to me. My ring is unique because its 3 different stone types, aquamarine, saphires and diamonds. Its a LeVian ring and they have a unique program that if you want to trade it in for another piece down the line they credit you the value of the ring towards another piece in their line.

I don't value my relationship on a ring, but if I am going to wear a ring its going to be one that I love.

Btw, we had joint accounts when we got engaged and I have no problem with my money going equally to the payments of the ring. In my mind, its my ring I get to wear it and I have no problem helping to pay for it. Men have a lot of social pressure to provide in a monetary way. I felt in my life, we share everything and having him buy an expensive ring alone was unfair. But that's just me.

I *LOVE* those three stones together!!! You don't see that combo very often, for sure!

I'm really into jewelry, which is probably obvious by my responses in this thread. :o lol I agree, though...if you are gonna wear a ring forever, you might as well love it.

Palladium is a nice platinum alternative. It's a little more costly than white gold, but it stays white forever (while some white golds tend to warm up after years of wear).

I like white gold best because 1.) it stays shiny forever and 2.) I like the warmth...it actually looks better with my skin tone. And you can always get it plated again if you want it to become whiter.
Yep, I need to get mine plated... been a few years now. Ooohh... perhaps I should get it done this week :) it'll cheer me up no end lol.
