So I'm getting stick of drinking Stella whenever I'm out. Any suggestions for some good beer? I'm more concerned about taste than whether or not it'll get me drunk (yes, strange I know).0

This is about the 10th time I've seen this thread. Answer is always the same for me:

Is there one that doesn't give you shits after about 20 or so?Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

I'm a mark for Blue Moon...but that's just me.
Add in a slice of orange and you're good to go.
Harvest Moon is good, but I'm reserving complete judgment until I drink one during a crisp fall night.

It's always the same...someone lists a beer that someone else doesn't like and then that someone else acts all snobbish about liking a better, more sophisticated beer.
That said, and I know I'll get a beer snob on me, but my favorite beer is Miller Genuine Draft followed closely by Yuengling.0 -

Nope. If someone invents that, and hopefully one without a hangover too, I'll be their friend forever.RolandTD20Kdrummer wrote:Is there one that doesn't give you shits after about 20 or so?I'll Ride The Wave Where It Takes Me0 -

The best lagers are the polish ones, in terms of taste and value for money, since they are strong as hell. check out Lech, Zywiec, Tyskie.
I have NEVER found a single good American lager.
As for ales, my favourites are Fursty Ferret, Bishop's Finger and Newcastle Brown Ale."I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -
Well I feel like I have to present to you guys (& girls) a few of my local brews. I was going to present you just with one brand but they're all so tasty ... http://www.bofferding.lu/ or http://www.mousel.lu/intro/ & http://www.brasseriesimon.lu they're all from my cute little home country and are best consumed by the dozen!!0

Magic Hat is pretty nice. Ithaca Beer Company is awesome, but its just a little microbrew, so pretty much impossible to come by if you're not in upstate NY. http://www.ithacabeer.comyou couldn't swing if you were hangin' from a palm tree in a hurricane.0
