Since Fanch hasn't seen this thread or can't post right now...I will give Natural Light some much needed recognition.

  • The best beer I've ever had in my life was Summer Solstice from Anderson Valley Brewing in CA.

Other than that, though it has to be Dogfishhead 90 minute IPA.

Pumpkin ales I'd have to go with the one from the Shipyard. Love that!

It is a great Belgium style ale actually brewed in Cooperstown NY. My favorite by them is 3 Philosophers. YUMMY! :D

    Ommegang makes some great beers

Yep, 3 Philosophers is really good too! Mmm!

I would love to be able to drink more of that, but it's so f'n expensive! Although, you don't have to drink as much of it...so maybe it evens out. :D

It's funny, I went out with a buddy to watch the football game last night. We went to this sports bar, had some wings and cheap beer (Bud Light...bleh! But it was dirt cheap so who am I to argue). After a few of them I stopped off and got a bottle of Ommengang Abbey. Drinking shit for a couple hours straight then popping open that was amazing! The smell as it poured out into the glass and that first sip...Mmmmm! Makes you appreciate quality beer!

I know what you mean i usually buy good bear forthe first 6-8 beers hoping the cheaper beer won't bother me as much by the time i get to drinking it because i'll have a buzz, but the drop off is always drastic.

It's a michigan beer but i've noticed it spreading around the mid west. Bells Oberon is amazing its a great unfiltered wheat beer. Its seasonal though so you can only get it till from may till.... I think maybe this week or so I can't remember the exact end date. But if its not to late go grab yourself a six pack its delicious.

Its often compared to blue moon. Fuck blue moon Oberon is way better and Blue Moon is made by coors and who wants to support a shit hole company like that?

If only we could get Fat Tire (have to drive to Chicago), I'd be perfectly happy.

It's working its way out there. There was a time not too long ago where you could only get it in and around Colorado. I remember bring back cases for people when I went skiing in Colorado for spring break. Hahaha!

Then it hit Chicago and I was happy. It is good beer. Mmmm!

If you ever get a chance, give Founder's Kentucky Breakfast Stout a try. I also recommend their Devil Dancer...

  • My all time favorite is Alexander Keith's from Nova Scotia, but they don't sell it here so I'd have to say Newcastle. Of if I plan on drinking 15 in a night I go with Coors Light.
