ha-ha!
You will enjoy the blueberry beer eyedclaar.
It isn't an overwhelming taste, but you can taste it in the aftertaste. It is very nice. I know, I can't get the one I like in CT either. But I will be in DC this weekend.

belgian beers long before the microbrews here...
I LOVE raspberry wheat beers and cherry wheat beers......and a beer like oberon, or blue moon with an orange slice to bring out the citrusness in the beer.....i would love to try blueberry....
if you are against fruit in beer then i think you have some issues and are not adventurous....your own choice and true loss!

Well alright, but don't tell Dunk if I do. I like teasing him about the mojito thing.

I've had the Boston Beer Works blueberry ale .... it's ok ... I mean, if it were on its own, it wouldn't be that good. They add a little blueberry syrup and some fresh blueberries.
Best part is the blueberries float from the top to the bottom over and over again, it's like a lava lamp.

I love raspberry wheat beers and blue moon with an orange slice. I'd be up for trying blueberry beer too.
Sea Dog is a good one. Down in the South, check out Sweetwater Blue, out of Atlanta. If you like berry beers, Abita's Purple Haze (raspberry) is quality as well.
And for those who say pansies drink flavored beers, I'd rather be caught dead with one of those than a Bud, Miller or Coors light.
if you are ever in the area in the summer, in New Paltz, NY there is a brewery called "The Guilded Otter". they make a blueberry beer that is unmatched! in fact, most of the beers they make are awesome~
i love blueberry beer. i've only had sea dog though...i'll have to check the others mentioned.
but...i like fruity beer, especially since i don't drink fruity girl drinks (aside from a delicious pineapple mojito). fall is my favorite time b/c then the pumpkin beer comes out!! delicious
yes...i do feel like a human. i do not feel like a tree.
So I'm getting stick of drinking Stella whenever I'm out. Any suggestions for some good beer? I'm more concerned about taste than whether or not it'll get me drunk (yes, strange I know).
Is there one that doesn't give you shits after about 20 or so?

Harvest Moon is good, but I'm reserving complete judgment until I drink one during a crisp fall night.

It's always the same...someone lists a beer that someone else doesn't like and then that someone else acts all snobbish about liking a better, more sophisticated beer.
That said, and I know I'll get a beer snob on me, but my favorite beer is Miller Genuine Draft followed closely by Yuengling.
The best lagers are the polish ones, in terms of taste and value for money, since they are strong as hell. check out Lech, Zywiec, Tyskie.
I have NEVER found a single good American lager.
As for ales, my favourites are Fursty Ferret, Bishop's Finger and Newcastle Brown Ale.

In fact, I'm pro-fruit beer! Makes it healthy right?
I admit, I don't think I've tried blueberry beer though. Might have to pick some up tonight.
for the reconrd, this was a great comment!

Actually, I've had it and it's not very good. But, I've never had chocolate with buffalo wings.
Bottom line: Fruity beers are for fruits.
Hahahaha!
Then I'm totally a fruit!
Mmmm...fruity beer!
I got a mixed 6-pack which includes a Sea Dog Blueberry beer.
I tend to be a bit of a beer snob so I'm just going to say that I think this beer is "ok".

Those Belgians like fruity beer, I tried half a thimble full of it one time and it sucked :(

Add in a slice of orange and you're good to go.
