i shall repeat myself, please get a life. life's too short to be obsessed with this damn movie. enjoy your time on this earth! lose the bitterness and you will find happiness.

    god speed.

That's really a biased statement considering that I am responding no more frequently and with no greater enthusiasm than the people I am responding to.

The fact that you choose to tell me instead of them to get a life means that, from your point of view, only people who enjoy this movie have a life.

So, with that in mind, I guess you think you have a life because you enjoy this movie. Whatever floats ur boat.

I think you are jumping to conclusions and pretending like you actually have a point to make. If you don't have anything to contribute to this thread, then why bother posting to it? Basically, you're being a spammer.

Besides, you are the one with the higher daily post count, so maybe you should be getting some sunlight...and by that I mean other than from your paper route.

The term "average daily" means taking the total number of posts and dividing by the numbers of days you've been a member.

A real-life example for you to practice with would be taking your weekly salary and dividing it by the number of newspapers you deliver in a week. This will give you the average amount of money you make per newspaper that you deliver.

    Hallelujah!!

Another sane indvidual joins the world. Also - how anyone can say "Marky" Mark's performance was good....what exactly was the point of his character in this???

Infernal Affairs kicks ass - no questions, no debates, no arguements.

It's about time Hollywood got over it's terrible re-make phase and started investing in some GOOD original film-making.

if edward norton had delivered the same performance as wahlberg did, there'd be no questioning it. he's not good in everything he does, but he was good in this.

and yes i agree hollywood needs to get an original thought.

    Just saw it last night:

so, was Costello an FBI informant? I got lost on that part.

And what was in the black box that Damon got after graduating the academy? Cell phone perhaps?
  • Saw the movie tonight in my basement on my 10 foot projector screen (best 1200$ I ever spent) and yeah it was awesome..not the best I've seen but yeah really good..worth a watch if you haven't seen it

Digging this thread out of the grave...no pun intended...it's been on hbo/cinemax quite a bit and I can never turn it off...

    Great flick!!!

Favorite scene - when Costello screams at Fitzy about dumping a body in the marsh - awesome - and then says..."Proceed" and the Dropkicks come in...great stuff!!!
I love to turn you on

there's actually two sequels to Infernal Affairs; Part 3 is an actual sequel and part 2 is a prequel.

The Departed is somewhat based on all three in one.

But I.A. 1 is incredible. You'll have to watch it about three or four times before you get it.

    "she fell funny"

    great lines in this movie.

I saw this film the other night for the first time and wow. I saw it again last night and wow. I love hearing the old Beantown accents and shots around the city.

BTW that was one great quote and it certainly stood out when I saw it. I thought it was odd how she fell on top of the other guy. Great line. :)

    Peace
