Oh well, it's totally worth it! Just think of how happy your taste buds were today!!
BTW...if anyone here buys pre-chopped garlic in a jar, you are a fool! Chop it yourself! It's 1000x better!
i like those garlic presses....where it minces it and you dont have to touch it. unfortunately my parents dont have one so ive been chopping it myself lately. maybe tomorrow will be garlic free! lolSeems that needlessly it's getting harder

Garlic presses waste too much garlic, IMO. I actually enjoy chopping garlic (or anything for that matter). This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper0 -

i'd much rather do it myself but it seems like it takes so damn long to mince a whole damn clove of garlic that it doesn't seem worth it"Everyone is a patriot in some form or another.... i prefer the intelligent ones."

chop faster!! Have you tried the 'chef' way...with the tip of the knife on the board...it makes it go alot quicker/easier.This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper0 -

Yeah but i'm no chef and definetely can't chop like one. i'd probably end up mincing my finger tip as well."Everyone is a patriot in some form or another.... i prefer the intelligent ones."

I love roasting the whole garlic and then squeezing it out on buttered Italian bread. The house smells so great, until I come home the next day! Ewwww!
To make it easier to peel, don't peel it! Take the garlic clove and whack it with the side of a big knife, or the bottom of a coffee cup. It crushes the clove and the peel comes right off! Then chop it, but keep your fingers curled under so your knuckles are higher than the knife and you won't cut those suckers off.

Yup, that's EXACTLY how I do it! Even my roommate (the chef) said I'm doing it the right way. This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper0 -
