But you notice that none of this whining, excuses, racism card is associated with Boller - the QB - the most prominent postion on the field. Or from the white head coach?
Perhaps because the white guys weren't the subject of racist comments from the white officials. Yeah maybe. This weekend we rock Portland0 -

give the credit to the ravens dude. just be happy your team won.
I don't recall any major non calls on the Pats, at least no major complaining from Balt. WR's, Bolller or coaches - no replays, etc.
Of course we're happy. Pats fans here are giving credit to the Ravens - they played great, it's just the Pat hating dweebs here are whining about too many penalties and timeouts, etc. They feed into the whining thug Raven players."This guy back here is giving me the ole one more....one more back to you buddy."

no I meant the Whining - no dumb quotes from Boller or Billick. Despite all their critics, those guys are being classy. I loved the kisses to Harrison."This guy back here is giving me the ole one more....one more back to you buddy."

so it was a black official? that makes it better?"This guy back here is giving me the ole one more....one more back to you buddy."

Poncier wrote:This situation should not be overlooked. You're in Baltimore Ryan, so I'm sure there is more info on this there...is there any proof of this that can be sent to the league (I read that one of the officials was calling the defenders "boy"), and if so that official should be fired immediately.
Also let's not forget that the Pats definitely cheated in the past so while the Jets thing didn't help them in that particular game, who's to say tendencies weren't noted from prior games. I hate him for many reasons but Belichek is a very organized coach, and to think that their prior indescretions haven't helped him to this point is kind of silly don't you think?
Anyway the Steelers do hit hard just not Ravens hard (they were at full 13-3 strength this week with both DBs, JO, and others back). However, their offense is about 1000 times better than B'more's so who knows. I just don't see the Pats losing to them for some reason...mostly b/c every time the Pats look down under Belichek they come back and beat the crap out of whoever they play the next week.0 -

i didn't think much about the ravens penalties... but i can sympathize for their frustrations. wouldn't you be pissed? i would. ravens played superb against them... they really did. i guess if they were going to have all these penalties and not be able to stop the patriots on the 4th down conversions than they should've thought of winding the clock down when they had those 2 earlier possessions. i still feel that the patriots should've lost... just like the cowboys should've lost to the bills. cowboys got very very very lucky on that game... so did the patriots. This isn't the land of opportunity, it's the land of competition.0 -

yes I did - some black players unfortunately don't help curtail racism or stereotyping by their actions - even from black officials. If indeed that is the case here allegedly."This guy back here is giving me the ole one more....one more back to you buddy."

ryan198 wrote:besides Ray-Murder, who may or may not have been present for the death of another human, who on that defense is actually a thug? Just because they play rough (football is a contact sport) doesn't make you a thug. If you are going to argue that then the Pats are just as thug-like, if not more so than the Ravens, (Merriweather, Harrison, late-hit Wilfork, and others). The thing that makes your defense great-ish (not quite but pretty damn good) is that it can be intimidating.
The Ravens hit hard, their D when healthy is still at or near the top of the league. Belichick just gushes over Ed Reed (funny quotes from Brady this week saying Reed better run after the game ends or Belichick is gonna try and sneak him on to the plane, and Belichick would like to adopt Reed, "Ed Belichick").
The 2 defenses and the coaches are not that dissimilar. Be certain that Belichick would enjoy a week where he had a bye week with the Pats and was given the Ravens' defenive coordinator job for one game.
You can't be a finesse player in 9 of the 11 defensive positions. (CB to an extent can be, Deion Sanders had a hall of fame career while never making a real tackle).
Both teams are sore today, I guarantee. This weekend we rock Portland0 -

it's just stupid IMO."This guy back here is giving me the ole one more....one more back to you buddy."

I'm referring to the players getting into the official faces in a threatening manner, throwing the flag into the stands, lying flat in the middle of the field in disbelief, etc. Yes, certainly there are Pats players who have pulled similar crap in the past."This guy back here is giving me the ole one more....one more back to you buddy."

When he grabbed the pom-poms from a 49er cheerleader after scoring a few years back, it was perhaps the funniest celebration I've ever seen. The popcorn was a very funny image as well.
The man is a great talent, and if he focuses on football and having fun, he's a joy to watch.
I don't condone the placing of the ball on the star at Dallas when he was Niner, thats too much of a direct taunt, but its kind of funny to see how Cowboy fans love him so much now. Pain has no memory. This weekend we rock Portland0 -

all of those things are funny and entertaining - but I hate to see it because so many people use those shenanigans against black people. Did you see Moss's postgame interview? He had the pimp suit and shades and said some funny things. He is really smart and articulate though just from hearing him speak. I guess this is off topic."This guy back here is giving me the ole one more....one more back to you buddy."
