Did you see Moss's postgame interview? He had the pimp suit and shades and said some funny things. He is really smart and articulate though just from hearing him speak. I guess this is off topic.
But is that really any different than say Joe Namath wearing the big fur coat in the 70's?

I think Owens when he is not pulling the off field crap like he did in Philly is quite entertaining.
When he grabbed the pom-poms from a 49er cheerleader after scoring a few years back, it was perhaps the funniest celebration I've ever seen. The popcorn was a very funny image as well.
The man is a great talent, and if he focuses on football and having fun, he's a joy to watch.
I don't condone the placing of the ball on the star at Dallas when he was Niner, thats too much of a direct taunt, but its kind of funny to see how Cowboy fans love him so much now. Pain has no memory.
i could be kicked out of philly for saying this, but i still love TO. he IS a joy to watch and a great talent - you summed it up well.
even when he was taunting us here in philly a few weeks back....well what did people expect? if you don't want him to celebrate, keep him out of the end zone.

woah woah woah...i became a fan of TO because of the star celebration, that was the best thing ever. but then again i am a fan of any athlete who tries to break the norm even if its against my team.
I like most of his celebrations, find him original and funny...but that was just too much of a taunt for me.
Though I must admit I found it quite funny when he scored there as an Eagle and placed the ball on the little star in the end zone. To me that was a very clever move. Running to midfield as a Niner was over the line I thought.

what was t.o.'s celebration on the eagles a few weeks ago?? i don't remember.

T.O. and Moss are going to end up as 2 of the most prolific WR's ever to play the game and we have the opportunity to watch them both concurently (and possibly against each other in this year's Super Bowl). Both have had their off field issues, but this season shows that in the right situation, with their focus on the game, they are 2 unbelievable talents. Watching Tom Brady throw to Randy Moss has been something great to see here in NE, even after 3 SB wins, this seems to be even more fun to watch.

ETA: and when the Pats' enjoyed some popcorn in Dallas in response to T.O.'s pregame comments, Owens was not the one who got upset, he took it in stride...Patrick Crayton on the other hand can expect to get jacked up if Dallas plays NE in the Super Bowl.

i think he just did that eagle flap thing he did while he was here. then he also got fined for waving a personalized "Terrell Owens Touchdown Towel" on the sidelines.

I was kind of hoping his first TD celebration as a Cowboy would be him kissing the star or something along those lines.

Sorry to high-jack your Patriots thread.

I do agree with your points about TO and Moss though. They are amazing to watch this year now that both are seemingly focused on nothing but football for once.

  • did the Patriots sell their souls to the devil? come on now, how the fuck is a team this lucky? From the tuck rule to last nights game, I have never seen a team have this many breaks go their way. its fucking unreal to me. four fourth down stops and they dont even stop them. that doesnt even make sense! then, to call that a TD? he was juggling that. watch the video. its there for your own two eyes to see as clear as day.

Giants beat them week 17. remember I said that. I want alllllllllllllllllll the glory for being the only one bold enough. you will all laugh and say this is a stupid thing to say, and I am an idiot, etc, etc, etc. i watch all the giants games and all the patriot games (I get cable from both markets) but the giants front four get pressure. as we have seen the past two weeks, that is the key. throw in a blitz here and there, make them pay for catching the ball, and the Giants have a real shot. the patriots have zero run game. zip. nothing. lets see them go 5 wide december 23rd when its windy and 10 degrees on thursday night.

patriots should hope colts get home field by the way (not going to happen unless they give it to them), as the patriots are the ones built to win in a dome this year and the colts are built to win outdoors. jags have a very good shot to beat them in foxboro if it comes down to it.

  • Next week will probably be they're best bet at losing. The Steelers have a great running and passing game, and should be able to do the same things rushing as baltimore did, but then we wont see the Kyle Boller mistakes out of Roethlesbereger

sounds like typical jealousy. If the pats are 15-0, the Giants will have little chance unless the Pats play backups.

If Moroney stays healthy, the run game will be fine. Aren't they a top 10 run team as it is now?

Ravens fan here who doesn't believe the officiating cost us the game. Reed fumbled it in fg range, Boller threw a pick in fg range, and the offense couldn't get a first down in there 3 final drives before the last time we had the ball with 44 seconds left. They left at least 6 points out on the field, and made no adjustment when the Pats decided they were going to stack McGahee. I'm tired of the whining in Baltimore today, but the Samari Rolle incident with the official caling him 'boy' is totally disrespectful, and needs to be investigated. We played the game of our season last night but when you still lose it just means you aren't very good to begin with. Which we aren't. We have no killer instinct, and weren't able to play the full 60 minutes.

let me rub my eyes because i must be dreaming. thank you culot4 for standing up and admitting that the refs did not "give" the game to the pats.

The irony as things are shaping up now is that the Giants will likely be resting starters against the Pats. More than likely they'll be locked into a wild card and have to play the following week.

And going into last week, Pats were #7 NFL rush offense, haven't seen updated stats.

Well because it was a black official, it becomes a little less of a race issue and moreso a respect issue. Its still wrong no doubt.

Not yet, but by week 17 they should have a wild card wrapped up, hey have a 2 game lead over all other contenders for 1 of 2 available wild card spots.
