  • I would've said Pats vs. unknown. However I am not surprised at all that the Colts couldnt get here.
    9/7/98, 8/3/00, 9/4/00, 4/15/03, 7/1/03, 9/28/04, 9/29/04, 5/24/06, 5/25/06, 6/17/08, 6/22/08, 6/28/08, 6/30/08, 5/17/10, 10/15/13, 10/16/13.

I surely like the Pats chances of going 19-0 now.
90% chance. the 10% is if the Packers beat the Giants.

There's something about that team that makes me think about the Super Bowl that happened 10 years ago. Packers vs. Broncos, remember that? Farve was the MVP and they were the defending champs and out of nowhere an old Elway and his underdog crew won.
Now, it's the Pats who are the big dogs, and Farve and the Packers the underdog team.

Damn, can't wait for next week. I'm kinda surprise the Bolts made here. Having an AWFUL first half against Titans and barely beating the Colts. But I guess they deserve to be here.

Igor Olshanky ... proving yet again, the Chargers do not know when to shut the hell up.

  • This game is gonna be good. I mean the sheer volume of hatred from the Chargers is unbelievable. They always go to the class card when they have zero themselves.

philip rivers has a mcl strain/sprain and LT has a hyperextended knee. both will most likely be questionable, if not game time decisions.

the fact that you say things like "thanks for playing" is why the PATS HAVE TO LOSE!!! Favre's the world's only hope.

    LaDanian Tomlinson - "Nothing Serious"

So, LT said today that the MRI revealed nothing and that his leg injury was "nothing serious".

    Really?

so, while your teammates were busting their ass trying to get you to a Championship game, you were on the sideline, riding the stationary bike, with "nothing serious"ly wrong with you?

    You're either (A) a liar or (B) a big effin pussy.

    My money's on B

Man I hope the Pats win this game by 40+

or he's really hurt but wants his teammates to be confident that they'll be playing the biggest game of their lives with their best player.

possible. personally, I don't even like LT. I just can't take the Patriots anymore. It's not them. actually, it's a marvel to watch Brady go 26-28 and fake statue of liberty plays. I just can't stand hearing about them on TV every minute...or from their fans.

They're worst things in life than to let this stuff of the Patriots get to ya. I can understand what you're saying though, in that in a week's period all I heard was Pats this and Pats that. It was alright for awhile but then I had to say, "there has to be something else happening in the NFL other than the Patriots".

I've turned this thing around and thought of myself NOT being a Patriot fan and how I would handle the Patriot haters out there. I'd pretty much speak of them the way many have here, down right dog 'em.

    So I understand. :)

Said Jacksonville veteran nickel cornerback Terry Cousin after Saturday night's game: "They just kind of 'out-people' you, really. They spread all those receivers out, and they're all good players, every one of them capable of making a play. Then you add in the protection, and the fact Brady is so [accurate] and so smart … and, man, it's just tough, you know? It's hard to keep them all in check. There's just so many good people over there. And when you think you've stopped the main two guys, someone else hurts you."

And his 2 incompletions were really drops. I thought Welker was going to puke in embarrassment after his 4th quarter drop.

Can't wait for this game, and I hope the Pats pummel SD and shut LT up for good.
I love to turn you on

haha yea. Wes gets pissed if he doesn't gain 25 yards after every catch, let alone dropping the ball.

I felt bad for the guy...it's the worst feeling in the world (not that i've played in the NFL or anything, but man!)

And think back to last year when LT sprinted to the 50 yard line in SD after the game and then bolted for the locker room. Crybaby. And how can you sit on the bench and when your QB comes over and sits next to you, you get up in a huff and walk away. I know the TO interview the other day was a bit dramatic, but at least he's defending and sticking with his teammate.

and everyone was ripping TO. i give him props for sticking up for his qb (even if he did give him shit weeks before).

i liked brady's take on the whole romo "thing":

"Everybody has lives," Brady said. "We work seven months, eight months, out of the year. You still have a life to live. On the weekends you do whatever you do to relax and rejuvenate. It's not like they can go to the local eatery in Dallas and hang out."

Brady stated what really made the difference: "If they caught the ball in the end zone at the end, nobody makes any mention (of the Mexico trip)," Brady said. "You alleviate a lot of criticism by winning. That's what I've realized for eight years."

Yea, there's nothing wrong with Romo. Can't blame that loss on him at all. Brady knows because what happened to Romo on that last drive happened to him last year at Indi.

yes, you can blame him his fair share, which is a lot. hes the quarterback, he gets most of the blame. ask Eli. not to mention, he deserves it. the "throw" to TO wide open was awful. the sacks he took when he could have thrown the ball away were awful, and his composure was terrible. he was yelling at people, flailing his arms, having bitch fits at his O line, .....it was fucking awesome!

so last year he fumbles essentially a game winning PAT (field goal from the 2), and this year he takes terrible sacks and misses a wide open receiver. as a giant fan, I am loving the progression. he is a choker. you could see that clear as day in his demeanor.
All that's sacred, comes from youth....dedications, naive and true.

IMO Romo had a poor game and for the record I'm a Cowboys fan of 30 years and I don't think he's the answer the team needs. But he crumbled like a wet paper towel under the pressure just like he did last year.

I dunno, I think it's stupid to judge such a young starter based on 2 games. People said Peyton Manning was a choker for years, yet he orchestrated a great comeback last year in the AFC championship game.

And bitch fits?? Do you ever watch Brady when something goes wrong? He freaks out too. That says nothing about a player's composure.
