  • Brilliant way to stereotype.. ass.

Absolutely nothing to do with any of the Sox fans here or the team whom they support.

Like Indifference71 said, go talk to yourself in your Twins thread and pray the Twins don't continue sucking slightly more than the "Sux".

Calm down, I was just making fun of that situation since ewok told cubs fans to fuck off. There are plenty of d-bags on both sides of Chicago. There are d-bags in every fan base.

It's going to be an interesting series next week. Should be fun. Like last time we beat you. :)
No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.

First of all, they weren't Sox fans. They were fuckin drunk rednecks, I'm sure you know plenty yourself up der in Minny eh? They admitted to having been at Wrigley earlier that day drinking too. I thought you were better than that, but you really don't know shit.

Hey, remember when those intelligent Twins fans almost caused their own team to forfeit earlier this year by throwing baseballs onto the field? They were mad about a call and threw a little hissy fit. Real smart doods.

They were also egged on by your team's manager who threw his own hissy fit on the field and told his players to get off the field. I like Ozzie, he just needs to control his temper a little bit better sometimes. You should listen to him, he really likes our team. More than his own sometimes, or so it seems. ;)

Anyway, I was joking, so calm down k? See my above post.

    Calmer than you are dude.
He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.

I once dabbled in pacifism...not in 'Nam of course.

  • Maybe you should stab them, that's what sux fans do right?
nah. i plan to start a brawl by taking a bullpen catcher's hat. they do it all the time in wrigley.

or assault a player in the parking lot. another fine wrigley tradition

ozzie wasnt the manager in 2002 or 2003.

Thinking back to this whole incident, Gardsy was the one who threw the biggest hissy fit of the night. That's what got the fans riled up. They started throwing shit while the Sox were in the field, then Ozzie came out. But managers are allowed to that, go out and argue a call and fire up their team. I hope you don't find it acceptable that fans can react in such a way. Maybe you'd be better suited for the bleachers at Wrigley then, where baseball is second.

And trust me, Ozzie lives and dies with the White Sox organization. He just said some of those things to butter you guys up and maybe prevent you from throwing baseballs at him and his team.

You don't watch a lot of baseball do you? I was talking about the incident at the Metrodome this year.

  • Hang on Tampa!

Magic number 7, hopefully down to 5 after this evening. How grand it would be to clinch in that god awful Baggie, given all the frustrations the Sox have had up there

  • Sox need to worry about taking 2 of 3 from Minnesota. This thing does not need to come down to playing Cleveland.

I hope the bring their game faces and big guns out Tuesday.
  • Time to smash the twinkies in the gladbag dome.

Hopefully Javy can step up in a big game for once.
  • Well here we go Whitey fans. Neither of our beleaguered teams probably deserves to win this division yet the final week of the 2008 regular season brings meaningful baseball to Chitown and the Twin Cities.

May the less sucky team win!

Ozzie is a bigger Twins fan than half the people that fill the Metrodome during any given home game--and the Twins have a pretty loyal fanbase.

Wow, what the fuck was that last night? Vazquez just can't show up in a big game. Buehrle needs to show why he's the veteran leader of this pitching staff tonight.
  • Yup, Vazquez proved all the writers and Ozzie right by showing he can not handle a big game. This is painful. If they don't win tonight we're screwed.
Bob Loblaw's Law Blog: "Why should YOU go to jail for a crime someone else noticed?"
  • Absolutely disgusted right now. 2 runs on 9 hits is just unacceptable in a game that could decide a division championship. The team just seems apathetic. I was really worried about Buehrle during the first two innings, but he settled down and pitched great. Hitters just can't put it together. Dye has completely fallen off, zero homers in September. In my opinion, the starting pitching and Dye will be the deciding factors the rest of the way. They need to step-up or it's gonna be a loooong, torcherous postseason of baseball for sox fans in chicago.

  • I really don't want to only hear about the Cubs in the playoffs..

    Get a grip Sox!

You start tomorrow half a game up.. you have to win!
  • Go TWINS!
