    I was in my first year as CSUF and I worked at the Ralphs Market on Painter and Whittier Blvd. The aisles were such a mess there, racked up a lot of overtime during the clean up but you had to be over 21 to clean up in the Alcohol Dept because all the booze was spilled all over the place!! Craziness!

    Whittier & Painter? Where the Quad was/is? That place got messed up BIG TIME! Scary! I would've hate to have been there. Didn't that entire parking structure collapse there too???

    Im ok for now exxxcept my shoulder feels like its breaking off from trying to find something to grasp on to!!! jeeze. And we get used to it but we havnt hadd one for a few years. Trailer is in the bay area.

    I was in Santa Barbara for the Northridge quake, and that one we felt and it actually took our power out for about 12 hours. That was a big earthquake. Crazy.

    HAHAHA!!! I haven't seen that in YEARS! That's a classic LA moment - Kent Shockman under the desk. The poor guy got so much crap for that! HAHAHA!!!

    Yah that earthquake got downgraded to a 5.8 I believe but it felt HUGE.

    The Quad. Thats why it got rebuilt i believe. My cuzin is in an office in uptown whittier where the buildings are OLLLLLLD and shes alone and freaking out!!!

    it woke me up....we in cali are so blase about quakes.....the quake wakes me up...it stops..i go back to sleep....although i did turn on the tv and was watching when kent went under the desk....and i still don't blame him....those lights above him are heavy and could kill him...:)
