Then it kept going and im like WTF?! Then i look over and see the HUUUGE tree swaying side to side like Ed during Last Exxxit and i look over and the neighbors are running full force. Im still standing there looking around at the ground moving, the trees shaking, my table shifting, and then it got harder and i tried to hold on cuz i almost fell over! Then it stopped and i sat down and tried to start painting again like nothing. It wasnt until i heard fire trucks that i started to be afraid a bit. No phone service so naturally i found the computer to contact my distant lover! :D

    LOL! Well, I admit it did have me stressed for a second. I was downstairs and the two babies were upstairs sleeping...I was afraid that if it got any stronger I'd have to rescue them from the rubble. :eek:

    This one was more of a back and forth ride, like being in a car that's about to stall. Sometimes, it's up and down more, like riding on a mechanical bull. Other times, it's a roll, like vertigo on a jet going through turbulence. Finally, sometimes it feels like you're riding on a moped over a ton of soda cans.

    You know what's interesting is to look at your pet during an earthquake. Dogs usually run up to you with a concerned look on their face. Sometimes they lick your hand to get reassurance.

    During the Whittier earthquake, my parents had a parrot and I looked at him during the shaking and his wings were spread out like he was trying to balance himself. Pretty cool.

    Amen to that. I'd rather get a blizzard with 3 feet of snow than have the ground shake for any length of time. Fuck that shit. At least snow melts.

    yeah my dogs were like a few seconds before it started they scratched at the door to go outside.

    so I let them out and the earthquake started, and i was like "awesome!" and the big puppers was like SHIT YEAH IT IS!! ans she got up on the table and was like balancing.

    the little puppersnax was under the table whining...and like she was like YOU FOLKS IS CRAZY AND SHIT!

    the dogs are the reason I was like AWESOME outside watching my trees and shit...
    IF YOU WANT A PLATE OF MY BEEF SWELLINGTON, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY THE COVERCHARGE.
