i really like the watching tv pic, my dog does that all the time with me
sometimes i put on the animal planet, then she goes nuts...lol... actually anything with animals and she goes nuts, it is sooo funny.

There was a thunderstorm last night in my small town, and we ended up with an old and limping (and very frightened) yellow lab in our front yard...my wonderful hubby called it over to him and put her in the back of our 4Runner...so we drove around looking for someone looking for their dog. We found them after about ten minutes and they were so happy to see their "Jenny". She's 13 years old with a very bad hip. Anyway, she was wagging her tail like mad and her parents were almost in tears (they'd been looking for her for over an hour). Jenny jumped on them like, "I'm sorry - but I was just so scared" and then came over to first my husband and then me, leaning on us, and licking our hands as if to say, "Thank you". Then I started to weep a little.
They were trying to offer us money or something, anything to show their gratitude...but my hubby said that seeing an extremely relieved couple of people and a very happy dog was all we needed...and he's absolutely right...
The dog did not have any tags on her, but a tattoo in her ear, which is virtually useless at midnight, so we lucked out finding her owners...So people, PLEASE PLEASE remember to tag your dogs so the finders know who to phone! Tags work - the other four dogs we've found in the past couple of years had tags, so we were able to trace the owners reasonably quickly...I was never a big fan of buying a municipal dog license, but after all those reunions, man, I sure changed my mind!!be philanthropic0 -
Great story!! I'm sure you didn't need their money to know how happy they were. Can you even imagine losing a 13 year old member of the family?
