Does anybody know how long it takes 10C to get stuff out to NZ. I Finally got membership and got a tshirt too. I dont want to still be waiting for it when they announce a NZ tour.
It depends. I've had stuff arrive within the week I think, but sometimes 4 weeks or more. What number did you get? Just to get an idea of where membership is at... Although if you'd made a profile before you'd probably get the number from then.

I signed up about a month ago, it took just over a week to get my 10club membership mailed to me, I got a emailed from them about shipping

"International orders can take up to 4-8 weeks for delivery. Please take into account holidays and poor weather conditions. Shipments to Canada, Mexico and Australia can expect delays due to increased Customs scrutiny. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact shipping@tenclub.net."

With a number like that, you must've set up your profile at tenclub.net earlier. I think they are at 365xxx at the moment. So that is pretty good for you. It doesn't matter much, cos for concerts in NZ we'll all get really good seats I think. Even in Oz should be pretty sweet depending on where you go...

Does it depend on when your profile was created? Cause I have been on there for ages and only just got membership.

Yeah hard choice aye. I like the idea of the free live CD. and down the track its probably gonna be as rare as shit. But it kinda takes away the fun of going to the CD store on the release day. Ah wat the hell. I'm gonna order it anyway and go to the shop. Might give it away to someone for a present. Plus I'd wanna boost the album sales too.

Now I think of it its an easy choice, no way would I ever go to sounds. And no way would I pay $35 for it (real groovy) so it looks like I will pre order.

It's hard choice. On one hand you get it the day of release and it probably costs you $22.99 from the warehouse. On the other hand you get it maybe 4-6 weeks after release and it costs closer to $40 but you do get the free live CD. Plus you can donwload it on the release date and listen to that until your actual CD arrives, so I'm probably going to go with that option I think. And take the opportunity to purchase more merch, the CD is $14 and you can order up to $35 and the shipping is the same, so if I buy a shirt at the same time, it's like free shipping! I think it will probably arrive within a couple of weeks anyway. And maybe one of the stores here will do a promotion giving soemthing away with the album (like they did for No Code, Yield and Binaural but not Riot Act to my knowledge) so I can always pick it up here early to get the freebie... That's my take on things anyway...

What's wrong with sounds? It's your indie mentality, right? Then I guess the warehouse is out for you too...

Warehouse fucking sucks for Pearl Jam. They didnt have RVM on release day. I complained. I stop past the Warehouse on May 2nd and it's not there I'll complain again and them to fuckin pull their finger outta thier arse and stop kissing up to pop lables and wat not then knock over a few CD racks get thrown out by security then go past sounds and pay marked up pirce. But what I want is fuckin pre-order vinyls. I'm probably gonna get the pre-order CD so i can get the live CD. I hope its good quility and fucking rocks.

Just hate how much sounds marks up, yeh I know there not the only one, see I know a guy who owns a record label, and when there selling it in there for $35 and I know how much he sells it to them for its crazy. I buy lots from the warehouse, no problem there.

The warehouse doesn't have anything on release day usually. That's the price you pay for the low price I guess. It's always a trade off and it's not a conspiracy against PJ.

Fair enough. Sounds is always my last resort, but sometimes you just have to. Real Groovy is even worse! Only problem with the warehouse is you usally have to wait and they don't always have limited editions (e.g. the Foo Fighters, In Your Honor with DVD) but they are cheap!

The good thing about real groovy though is they have so many things you couldnt get in sounds. Also, if you go through the second hand sections, I buy alot of my cds that way. The most you will pay is $15.
