Nah not on the air yet but I'm sure it will be next week. It's on the website. The current competition is the Tool one.
  • I heard from Jonno tonite that the Pearl Jam comp is for a trip to see them in the US. You gotta listen out for double shots of Pearl Jam starting on Monday. I think die hard fans like us will have the advantage casue we can tell pretty much every song from the first note. Pearl Jam was #1 on the rock 30 for the 2nd week. Even though Jono said it was new. Duh. Exciting stuff.

Good shit, i'll be definitely listening out for this, and the European tour dates have been announced, I can start planning my OE now

  • Hey Kiwis. I've been listening out for the Pearl Jam double shots on the rock. Didn't get through last night. But I did win some lame CD. I was the guy that guessed the Soundgarden album if anyone heard.

Don't give up yet! You can buy Zagreb now if you want, and a bunch of others are only temp out of stock (vienna, pistoia, torino, bern, marseilles, barcelona). That usually means the tickets are stuck in someones cart I think. Keep trying buddy!

Vienna are available if you're quick. Also, Lisbon was until just before I managed to post this, sorry...
  • TerryibleTerryible Posts: 462
yeah lisbon was one of the ones I wanted, but now it says both are sold out.
Its a strange system, sometimes it says buy, then it will go to sold out then back to buy again and by the time i've decided to buy the ticket its sold out again. I might have to try my luck with general sales

I'd say most unlikely since I read that NSEC isn't holding "rock concerts" anymore. I sure hope it's not the true tour schedule. NSEC sucks for concerts, they need to play Vector Arena when it opens... Also, latest news has been that PJ are finsihing up the tour in Australia in November and these dates go over into December. These are the same dates as "leaked" in the past, right?

The Auck dates then took the jump to Ericcsson Stadium. I suggested Vector Arena, since it should be finished by then and it's prupose-built to hold events like that. Capacity 12,500 IIRC.

I thought the Ericsson dates came out before these NSEC dates? Anyway, I really hope when the real dates are announced that it is Vector.

So no Kiwi's have solid rumours yet outside these dates that 10c shot down before?

I'm from the US and hoping to hear news so I can make plans to come visit New Zealand again.

Well, doesn't look like any stores are doing an early release here that I could find. Does anyone now if any stores are giving away anything "cool" with the new album? Like the beanie from Binaural? Apparently CD & DVD store in Westgate are giving away the WWS promo and posters at their midnight release, but that's not worth the $30 for the album in my opinion (since I'm waiting on the pre-order) but for someone who needs the promo it might be an idea. By my reckoning we can download it at 4.01pm on Tuesday, I can wait it out... unless I can get something nice with the album from a store here.

I don't know anyone that has it yet. Seems a bit weird that no one has it yet. I think a couple of people in this thread got theirs though, so that's even weirder. After all the tour hype dies down I might email the tenclub...
  • Had to say guys, just drove into town at midnight to Sounds on Queen St to get the new album, what a feeling! Fuck its been a long wait but worth it. I dont think ill get much sleep tonight..
Also got the Tool CD and will listen to that...maybe next month. Big middle finger to the guy who was being a cock in Sounds, saying "whos here just for the Pearl Jam album? Noone, didnt think so!" Thought my Pearl Jam hoodie may have given it away but clearly not.
Its been 8 years, but I still believe...PJ in NZ 06!
