    last night/this morning, I watched some interviews with some qb's from othr NFL teams

    One even mentioned the fact that the pats were the ones who got caught!

    Meaning... its been done many times!

    i dont think it is right but lets not be naive and think it doesnt go on!


    alot of ppl are awaiting there "punishment" bcuz it could better their chances of actually winning a game against them
    THey are a great team, I dont know why they did this. Now their season is tainted.

    I think the largest fine ever given an owner was $1 million and that was for Eddie DeBartalo being involved in an illegal gambling ring.

    And the thing is say they lose a 3rd and a 5th round pick, does it really hurt them that much, because they have 2 first round picks because of the Deion Branch trade.

    From what I'm hearing, it is unlikely that the league would take away a 1st or 2nd round pick, because the players' union would be up in arms because they would be losing a future union member. Because any picks taken away would not be given to another team.
