PaperPlates wrote:More misinformation. If that was the case, how could these message boards exist ffs? Over 3/4 of the american posters here would be imprisoned by your skewed view of how things work here.
Because message boards are a threat to no-one. If this stuff was broadcast on the mainstream media things would be different. This board would be closed down immediately.0 -

I'm free to vote for whomever I see fit without the risk of jail time or torture or anything. as are 280,000,000 other americans
complete and utter bullshit. I have been to 3 anti war marches this year in chicago alone. I saw hundreds of hateful bush tee shirts and signs. hundreds.
Hundreds of people. Right. Sometimes it's not wise to publicly arrest hundreds of people for wearing politically unsavoury T-shirts. This is why individuals are targeted and harassed instead. I posted about 30 links on here about months ago detailing such harassment and arrests. I can't be assed to do so again.0 -

but i'm sure there are people who are investigated and harassed. as some of them should be. they take things too far. but are the 99.9% harassed and investigated? absolutely not.0 -

Couldnt agree more. Both sides of the equation have their duties. And both, for the most part, believe in what they are doing. Pretty tough catch 22 huh?Why go home

Hitler also believed in what he was doing. What a pity that so many Germans were so obedient and servile. Some things never change. Pretty tough catch 22 huh?0 -

Well the administration may believe in what it is doing in Iraq unfortunetly they where never honest with the public about their motives because they knew that their motives would not justify us invading Iraq."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -

Were you talking about the soldiers believing in what they are doing, or also the government who sent them in?0 -

Hitler? Why when in doubt or pushed are people like you so qu(s)ick to pull out the hitler card? You do realize you insult every person ever killed under hitlers regime by using that comparison don't you. Its pathetic really. You really are a one trick pony. Are you that hateful, or are you just drunk again?Vedderlution_Baby! wrote:Were you talking about the soldiers believing in what they are doing, or also the government who sent them in?

I thought you meant the Iraqis and the Americans.
If the government believed in it so much, why did they have to misinform the public to gain their support?0 -

And why is it always Hitler, rather than Stalin or Mao?

The Hitler card?? Ha ha ha!
Oh, and I wasn't in doubt. Not for a second.
And as for insulting dead people. Not possible. They're dead.
And as for being drunk, please elaborate. It's pathetic that people with no argument need to always fall back upon lame personal attacks.0 -

Why do mad people often have delusions that they are Jesus? Why don't they think that they're Buddha, or the Hindu God Shiva? I guess some iconic figures are more iconic than others.0 -

"Perhaps that’s not a fair comparison, because the Third Reich had only 12 years to accomplish what the USSR did in 81 years and the PRC in 62."
