Remember Bin Laden? He organised an act which killed 3000 people?

Are we still looking for him?

Yeah, I remember that guy. He's the one Bush promised to capture 5 1/2 years ago.

However, Bush didn't capture him. He needed Bin Laden to help get re-elected in 2004 by pushing fear.

He will actually be captured in the last month of Bush's presidency, helping to save the president's legacy.

When it's convenient, we're still looking for him. Right now, Iraq is more important that catching him, unfortunately.

Once the shit hits the fan in Pakistan and the state's boy Musharif (sp) loses his reign, whoa boy, you can guarantee that the search will be back on. A rogue state called Pakistan is the America's wet dream. Easy access to the land of tribes then. And with your newly armed friend in India, there won't be too much complaints when the bombs start to drop. Go get em comboy!

It's a bold assumption to assume he organized 9/11. And can anyone please convince me that we were ever looking for Bin Laden? Because no one has been able to convince me of that yet.

Why cant we go in there? Do we honor sovereign boundaries now? Did this stop us from entering Afghanistan? Same situation, isnt it? Tell me exactly why we cannot go after Bin Laden in these remote areas of Pakistan. Please explain how this is a different situation than when we entered Afghanistan.

To put a guess up. Even the idiots in charge of the States know that by doing that it would put Pakistan in a whole heap of trouble(not that they aren't anyway) and then it would be a huge battle on the US hands to try and keep that really big area from not imploding or exploding. Whichever way you think it would go, it would be a disaster.

I agree with you that the States don't recognize borders but they seem to not be too fast to enter that zone between the two countries. For some strange reason. I guess having half of the Arab world hate you is better then 90 to 100 percent. Aside from carpet bombing (of which the US is good at) their troops would get their asses handed to them by venturing into that neck of the woods. Black Hawk down would look like a love story to the pics you would see coming out of there.

    yes

no. the government in afgahistan supported al qaeda and bin laden. pakistan does not. see the difference?

because we are not allowed there. this would entail going for an all out war with pakistan. is that what you want?

i already did but I will again. you'll have to pardon my friend everyone, he's a little slow.

the taliban government of afgahistan supported al qaeda and osama bin laden. on september 11th 2001, the USA was attacked by al qaeda. the united states gave the taliban about a month to turn over bin laden or risk retaliation for the attacks on 9/11. we overthrew the taliban and forced them into the mountains along the border with pakistan. this are is know as Waziristan. you can learn alot about this area here....

pakistan has said bin laden is not there and they do not know where he is. that may or may not be true.

logically speaking, this is the only area of the world where bin laden can have safe haven. and his only escape route after he was chased from his headquarters in tora bora afganistan. this area has been self governed and lawless for hundreds of years.

We caught Osama in a spider hole nearly 4 years ago. They hung him last year.

Oh that was Saddam??? Whats the difference again?
I find it amusing that all the tough talk about chasing dem terrorists around the world only applied to their war of choice in Iraq. Another convenient pretext to an Iraq invasion.

Iraq and 9/11 are not connected. they only became connected well after the invasion (and saddam) and bin laden instructed al zarkawi to start up al qaeda in iraq

and your response has absolutely nothing to do with my response to limbo.

And how do we know this? because the CIA met with him in an American owned hospital.
