Who told me that, well there are all these religions out there all claiming to be doing God's work, have been for a few thousand years now. I know, Iknow, you are going to say that religions are not God, but in reality mate, when your ass is nailed to the cross, or the falmes are licking around your feet, there is no difference.
Wake up to yourself !!
and that is only your opinion. and you are nobody. a speck of dirt on the arse of the world.0 -

Why can't they obey the law?I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire0 -

That's right, and yet God is so fascinated by my every thought and action, yeah right !!Music is not a competetion.0 -

go to a prison and ask them. i have no trouble obeying the law.0 -

why would God give you a second thought? a wee bit arrogant are we?0 -

So, then you really have no idea.
Seems your knowledge is quite limited.
I got
Men can't obey God's law
Because they are imperfect
Because you don't know why
That's pretty limited knowledge. Or is this to avoid the obvious answer that God created man imperfect? And thus he is responsible.
Either way, I still think you are wrong, there are much more complicated and sophisticated causal chains of bad behavior than that.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. NAh ya tube, I'm paraphrasing the thoughts of teh Judeo-CHristian religions. As if I think that an entity powerful enough to create the universe cares whether I have a wank or not. I doubt that an entity that powerful could even percievie me, in their time-space referecen. It would be like me trying to spot a grain of sand from a fast moving car, never gonna happen.
Just another reason to deduce that god does not exist, not an actual thought. You are teh one arrogant enough to think that God can be botehred to percieive you. Rememeber, every sparrwo falling etc etc, and all that crap !!
HOe else is going to judge my entry to heaven though, compare me to a freaking camel ???Music is not a competetion.0 -

you didn't accept my answer that man is flawed so what more do you want? you've admitted many times that man is flawed. are you changing horses now? you've admitted you are nothing. if you have no soul; you are only water and dust. nothing more; nothing less. worthless dust. by your own admission. and that admission made in almost every thread you post on.
mans purpose is to attain perfection and overcome the physical world. you were made with flaws for a reason.0 -

I accept that humans are flawed, but I don't accept your reason why. You didn't say why, you simply said go ask the prison inmates.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. and that's where you lost the plot mate. God isn't bothered to perceive me; i strive to attain oneness with him. we are but a speck of dust in this vehicle.0 -

I think it would be very helpful in these discussions if everyone would define what they mean when they use the word "god." Every single one of these threads that we've had, people are talking right past one another because they all define god differently. If I'm talking about Yahweh and you're talking about a pantheon of pagan gods and someone else is talking about a force of nature, the conversation is never going to make any sense at all. People here are arguing about the rules in the bible with people who say their spirituality has little or nothing to do with the bible. What is the point in that? By the same token, if you're going to talk about something other than the god of Abraham, then it's up to you so clearly state what you mean, because the biblical god is what people in the west commonly think of when they hear the word.
I believe there's much more to the universe(s) than the dimensions we can perceive measured in linear time, but I hesitate to use the word "god" for just this reason ... it leads to confusion."Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." ~ MLK, 19630 -

i bought a 3 year old filly that was never worked with. my goal is to train that horse to do the work i need done perfectly. she; like my other horses will obey voice commands and when she reaches the point of perfection; she will anticipate my needs and i won't need to make those voice commands. at that point; i am one with the horse. we ride as one; we work as one.
can you understand that?0 -
