I really think the level of education in the U.S. is subpar.

I'm basing this on personal interaction with hundreds upon thousands of Statesmen of course.

I also met this girl Mareike that came from Germany and spent time in exchange program in a U.S. school. She said the education is way below the standards of Europe.

I believe that's true, now do I really need to go through the long process of explaining how a lack of education makes people stupid?

Nice. You're a telephone support guy sitting in some call center, and based on talking to people who call in for help you've been able to extrapolate that to the US as a whole? At least you're honest about why your opinion means nothing without further data. Oh, yeah. I guess you do have further data - the word of a German high school girl.

Intelligence Quotients are the most ridiculous way of measuring intelligence and virtually no one uses it. Certainly not here in Canada. Sorting people out by IQ is STUPID.

Not to mention that source is highly questionable:
Lynn's work on global racial differences in cognitive ability, mostly surveys of other scientists' studies, has been criticized for its associated measurement difficulties, and some critics have accused Lynn of misrepresenting the data or racism.

Leon Kamin accused Lynn in a Scientific American book review (1995) critical of the Bell Curve of disregarding scientific objectivity, misrepresenting data, and racism.[14] Kamin argues the studies of cognitive ability of Africans in Lynn's meta-analysis cited by Herrnstein and Murray show strong cultural bias. Kamin also criticized Lynn for "concocting" IQ values from test scores that have no correlation to IQ.[15] Furthermore, Kamin argues Lynn selectively excluded a study that found no difference in White and Black performance, and ignored the results of a study which showed Black scores were higher than White scores.[16]

No, because your source is a call center and high school german girl.....................I have found both to be unreliable.

    "Dad, can you gum this?"

    "Dad, gum it?"

I don't get it, why not say "Ah shit, fuck it all?"

So you think that all Americans talk this way? Your argument isn't valid at all, and by saying that all Americans are stupid only shows your own ignorance. Let me ask you this, if we're so stupid then why are we the super power, why do we have all the $$, why are American colleges the source for the majority of scientific, social and medical studies through the world? Give me a fucking break...let me guess you're Canadian?

Most people that I know are going to be around 120 - 130 IQ if you want to use that measurement.

    Myself about 150

My brother, probably 150 as well.

Hi girlfriend, probably about the same.

Maybe Lynn just looks for people with low IQs the same way those Chasers guys look for stupid statesmen.

    LOL.

Here's where we could put a little Bob & Doug MacKenzie dialog to demonstrate Canadian culture, but I'm not completely certain it would be representative. Although just as representative as your example above, eh? Good day, eh.
