Additionally, America accepts massively higher numbers of immigrants (in comparison to total population) than Britain, and these immigrants tend to have lower IQs. We also have far more African-Americans, and they tend to have lower IQs. Still, the American IQ is roughly around 98. Britain has its own factors as well, including working class white males, Arabs, and Carribean Africans.[/quote"]

This explains why Powell got up there and made an ass of himself in front of the entire world. And here I thought it was because he was an American. Silly me.

I hate to take the bait on this one, but that's one of the stupidest videos I've ever seen, no pun intended. Don't get me wrong, America is certainly riddled with dumb people, as are all nations, but these guys set some of these people up. Having individuals point out countries on the map where the countries were mislabeled? What's the point, I don't get it. Walking around saying you're John Howard and acting like we're stupid for not knowing what the guy looks like? I wonder how many Australians could pick Stephen Harper out of a crowd? Zero? Much like Harper, Howard isn't exactly a guy who is in the news often, even through international news outlets.

The most disgusting thing about the whole video is the fact it was even made. I mean, really, what's the point? It seriously reeks of jealousy, trying to find a way "stick it to the man". I can honestly say, except for the stupid asses who ridiculed the French a couple years back, I have never seen anything like this on American TV.

Jay Leno does this to his own countrymen. He has never singled out a foreign nation and tried his best to make complete asses of them.

I know it's just humor. I think I've got a pretty good sense of humor, rather dry, but a good sense of humor nonetheless. I honestly didn't find this in the least bit funny.

The only people dumber than the ones interviewed in this video are the ones that go off saying "Oh, everyone in the United States must be stupid, look, it's proven by this video"...............There's no denying that the people interviewed in this video gave some pretty damn ignorant answers..........On the other hand, I am from Texas, and can not think of anyone of the people I know that would think Australia is North Korea. Who is willing to deny that you could go to ANY country in the world and pick stupid people out of a croud, interview them, compile the most stupid answers, and make a video 30 min. long????? It's not that hard to find these people...........their actions usually represent their intelligence................and news flash..........they are EVERYWHERE, not just in the United States............I am amazed that there are dumbasses that form their opinions and generalize populations based on these type selective interviews...................Fuck, let me find something stupid to sell you.

Americans might not be stupid but they sure don't have a sense of humour.

Look at your reactions, it's comedy for fuck's sake. You've got Whore bringing up his nazi statistics, there's the immediate respons that other countries have idiots too... look at it and laugh...

If I see something posted like this about my country, I laugh.

Who in this thread generalized entire populations except for Whore? No one.

    Get over it.

I guess I was more so refering to the comments made on the actual youtube site.................Not to lessen the fact that there are plenty of generalizing fucktards wherever you look.............just like stupid people.

I am sorry. But when you are watching a Harvard professor signing a petition to stop the polar bear hunt in downtown Toronto. That is funny!

Just as watching a Cdn saying that Alcatraz Island is a nice place for the Statue of Liberty to stand. It is only humour. And when you want to export your way of life to the rest of the world as being the way. Well you better be ready for stuff like this to surface.

wow this has got rather out of hand. i just posted this to share the mirth. i did not intend to use this to make a comment on americans, america etc. i guess we brits are more self-depricating so would not find offence if someone posted american comedians taking the piss out of us.

self-deprecating is funny, i think you'll find many americans quite adept at self-deprecating humor. this isn't self-deprecating being there is no "self" doing the deprecating. This is pissing on another culture while attempting to make them look dumb. Do these same "comedians" do this in Australia to Australians or do they just try to make every society but their own look dumb?

The mistake you make is to assume that the show never makes fun of Aussies. Austraians spend more time laughing at themselves then anyone else. And don't think that the US is immune to poking fun at another nation. I have spent seven months in the states dealing with the bad stereotypes.

I am also well aware of who Stephen Harper is.... but that is not the point.

Regardless of your knowledge of world politics, one should never be caught unawares about how many sides a triangle has. And no matter how little you care about the rest of the world, the realisation that North Korea, France and Iran are in fact north of the equator should never prove that elusive.

And secondly, the show is not hard hitting current affairs. It is a bunch of comedians trying to make people laugh. Don't take it too seriously.

Truth be told I was in Canada leading up the election. Even so, I knew of Paul Martin before that- although I am sure that as many Americans are unaware of little Jonnie 'head up Bush's Arse' Howard, many Australians would be unaware of current or previous Canadian Prime Ministers.

i check a few of their vids out and they were all in australia taking the piss out of their fellow countrymen.. so yeah... they make their own country look dumb too

american shows/entertainment whether for comedy or not has a long history of playing on stereotypes and on other nations ...

take for example the thread on 24 ... another year where these muslim terrorists are at it again ... if you want other cultures to treat it as just fiction then surely, a little jest on a comedy show can be allowed no?

wow someone is a bit sensitive! i put the video up simply to share the laughs, not to say "oh all americans are idiots". i think the daily show and the colbert report themselves prove not all americans are dumb.
and yeah so what if we have muslims in our country? one of my best mates is muslim and although he wont go to the pub with he he is a total riot and a great laugh. someone who can take a joke.
clearly you are quite insecure as your rant would suggest. and i did indicate that americans were the subject of the laugh so you really should have avoided it if you knew you were going to be so "offended".

No, this is the second time this video has been posted on this message board.

It's no incisive or humorous at all. I don't like foreigners thinking that they can make fun of my people and that it's funny.

I don't want to export our way of life. I'd be happy if Iraq was still be violently subdued by a brutal dictator. Fine by me!

I'm just fine having an American standard of living and everyone else can bugger off!

i know a few iraqis who dont like foreigners (that is you guys) bombing their country... but i guess comedy is far worse than war.

What category would jokes about war be classified under?
