As soon as a women can self pregnant without the help of a man in any way then I will STFU. Until then it should be up for debate.0 -

Anti-choice? I am all for the choice. What I have a problem with is making that choice after the inevitable occurs. Every single reasonable person should understand that sex leads to pregnancy, and if you choose to have sex then you also agree to get pregnant. Sex is primarily an action performed to create offspring, we shouldn't stray from that reality it is not natural. No need to be void, or save up on life

What does how the woman gets pregnant have to do with anything? All Prism said was that if the woman has an abortion, the anti-choice brigade - man and woman alike - should butt out.Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.0 -

And an abortion is an action performed to end an unwanted pregnancy. Stating the obvious is fun.:)Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.0 -

A woman who decides alone to abort deserves no man at all. Not even a dog should accompany her through life, because she is likely too selfish to care for it anyway. No need to be void, or save up on life

Life begins at the point of conception. No one can deny that after a human being is conceived it will develop into the very same being as those debating this issue. What astounds me is that those who favor abortion went through an identical development stage as the being they are condemning to death. Would these very same people agree that a similiar choice should have been made about their own existence? Abortion today is used primarily as a birth control of convenience because people are too self-centered to take precautions. They prefer their own pleasurable self-indulgence over the care and sanctity of the life they created. What ever happened to taking responsibility for one's actions in this country? Is it too much to ask a woman who has conceived to place the child into adoption? Nine months of discomfort is nothing compared to life in prison for voluntary manslaughter! Does the father of the child have a say in this? And what about the constitution of the United States? Are not all people conceived in this country deserving of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? I believe abortion is a crime against humanity and should be outlawed. We need to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision and get back to cherishing life in this country. For a country that murders it's children cannot be far from self destruction.

I just think a man should have a say in whether to have an abortion. If the pregnancy is from something other then a rape.
It sounds to me like Prism is suggesting it is a women's choice 100%. I could be wrong maybe that's not what he/she is saying.0 -

I assumed nothing, I KNOW that it could lead to pregnancy.

I agree that maybe it shouldn't be 100% the woman's choice - to the extent that the man should have a say. Ultimately though, it is the woman's choice. That's something for the mother and father to work out between themselves. But meanwhile, the anti-choice folks should really leave them alone. It's not like an unwanted pregnancy, and the possible abortion, is fun for the woman. It's kicking someone when they're down.Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.0 -

I never said that she should decide alone as it is between her and her partner and her doctor ONLY. everyone else gets to stfu
what about men that split after a brief fling?
and what about women that are raped? should she be forced to get permission from her rapist to have an abortion?*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I agree it ultimately is the women's choice. I have a problem when someone is so adamant that the man shouldn't have a say at all, because it is the woman's body.0 -

What about the man that impregnated you (any women)? They don't get any say?0 -

I'd say in the majority of situations where couples are facing this decision, it's something they do together. The generalizations on this thread are ridiculous, since every persons circumstance and reasons are different. Sure there are women who refuse to even tell their partner, who refuse to consider what he might think about it, but I'd bet they're in the minority. You just can't possibly know each persons circumstances and reasons, and at the end of the day, nor should you. It's none of anyone else's business why a woman or a couple choose this option. In fact, it's so much no one else's business that the law says so. Regardless of people's personal feelings about the issue, the law allows for a woman to make that decision if she feels it's in her best interests. I can't see those laws changing any time soon.0
