Where have YOU been, RiC? ;)

I am an Oilers fan, never doubt that :D I only EVER cheered for the Flames against Tampa Bay. Won't see it happening again.

I just got back to work from a nice vacation that had me serve in the wedding party of one of my best buddies tying the knot....was very fun and nice....however I did miss my opportunity to blast Shames fans in AET NHL Play-offs thread....and as for cheering for the Flames again i would certainly hope not thats grounds for punishment....lol....:)...j/k.....

It's a good gesture. Nice to see it! I believe that the Stanley Cup travels, as it was welcomed in my hometown by an NHL player who is originally from my hometown. It caused quite the stir, as I'm from a big hockey town.

Here is the official Stanley Cup journal for 2006. Colesy is a fan favorite down here. I met him briefly at an autograph signing and he seems like a really cool guy.

I can never see the Stanley Cup too many times.

You are thinking of moving out west to Alberta?

Trust me though in Calgary there are a tonne of Oiler fans....went to one bar there while I was down and decided to goto a pub on 17th (Flames were not playing) but the place was flooded with Oiler jerseys to watch the Oilers PPV game....

I am. I know hey, how orginal someone from the maritimes moving to Calgary  :p but lets face it there isn't much money here and even fewer men j/k :p;) I have family there so Iwould have a place to live and I would like to make some good money. Not that I imagine I am going to start rolling in the dough or anything but you know how it is. I want to go back to school eventually. I am too smart to do nothing.

Oh good I am glad there is , my cousins there are Flames fans. I mean I love them because they are family but still... :p

Well living in Alberta it is always nice to see intelligent and cute women moving to the province....and lol very original with the maritimes move....where I am at there are hardly anyone from Alberta originally...mostly from the east and like myself from Saskatchewan...also something you will notice in Calgary...as soon as they start losing be prepared to see the band-wagon empty at the drop of a hat....

The one thing this province has is jobs that pay well....however be prepared to see the reality of what the cost of living is....but its great if you have a place to stay already....damn I was looking at maybe getting a condo in Calgary something decent (beside a C-train station would be ideal) and for 669 square feet it would cost me $600,000....I almost fell over.....but Calgary is a great city and I love going there on my company's bill....I think you will love it....so much to do with the mountains right next door....and hey your only 2.5 hrs away from seeing the best team in Alberta play hockey!

    :D

Face it, the Rangers and Rangers' fans have been the life's blood of the NHL........for 40 years. There's no greater fanbase and no greater hockey town!

Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

Well I am a true Oilers fan but I do like to cheer for a team during the playoffs and as you know for a good number years that just wasn't us :o Anyway yeah I could use the change of scenery and my cousin broke up with her boyfriend and bought him out of the house so I am sure I could live with her. She offered before.

If I do I am coming up for a game for sure.. prljamgirl, you, earthgirl, me.. and Cree and whoever else should have a gathering :D

By that logic, the Isles, Rangers, Devils, and Flyers are all the same team! And maybe Capitals.

Well I assure you that you will enjoy living in Cowtown...
