why would the nra respond at all? this is not a second ammendment issue; it is a criminal issue. jack daniels doesn't respond to drunk driving incidents nor does chevrolet.0 -

he didnt break any law if, for instance, he went along to a Gun Show in Virginia as its perfectly legal to buy a gun at one of these shows without any background checks!!!oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -

Target shooting, skeet shooting, sport of that nature...
There is a big difference between killing people, which the vast majority of privately owned guns in this country will never be used for, and killing game.0 -

I'd be willing to bet a vast majority of privately owned guns are for "protection"...i.e. "killing, just in case...."0 -

He was clearly breaking the law. But we should enact more laws to make it illegal to violate existing laws."I'll use the magic word - let's just shut the fuck up, please." EV, 04/13/080 -
The shooter was a legal US resident.....0

The National Rifle Association joins the entire country in expressing our deepest condolences to the families of Virginia Tech University and everyone else affected by this horrible tragedy.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families.
We will not have further comment until all the facts are known.

whoa there partner...I see you're new around this parts....first, relax...take off the caps button...and then take a deep breath....
second, I understand the 2nd amendment has been interpreted the way you see it...which is fine...
I was simply asking for some other examples for the use of guns...which were invented to kill...so if you can come up with some, great....if not, that's ok too...it just proves my point, which is guns are made for killing...all that other fun stuff, like shooting things out of the air is just a bonus...
no need to be calling names...0 -
