Because of the Times - Kings of Leon
Amputechture - The Mars Volta
Riot Act - Pearl Jam
Lullabies to Paralyse - Queens of the Stone Agethe needle & the damage done0 -

seriously though
my 2 cents after laughing my laugh at absurd comment above
Yield was a letdown, but when you make nocode there is no choice but to be a step down.
sercret sahmadi (even though i think it was Live's 3rd album)
Fairweather Johnson Hootie & the BlowfishLet's not be negative now. Thumper has spoken0 -

I think Audioslave had a decent first record on their hands even though I was never a big fan but now they have released to of the most dissappointing albums of any major big or important band of the last 20 years especially seeing the talent in that band.Let's not be negative now. To all you Audioslave haters....
Out of Exile and Revelations were fucking awesome albums!!!! Their first album was their worst IMO. It was a great album, but it sounded incomplete to me. Parts of it sounded like they were trying to be Soundgarden, the other parts sounded like Rage. The other two albums had their own sound to them."Darth Vader would say 'Impressive'."

Agreed."I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

I have to disagree with Kid A and Room On Fire. Both of those are amazing.
I'll go with these two at the moment:
Weezer - Green
SOAD - Hypnotize/MeserizeIf you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.
Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.

Live - V (TDTH was their last good album)
Pearl Jam - s/t
NIN - Year Zero
Tool - Lateralus (Ænima last good album)
i hope pj and nin arent the latest to join this group of bands. i atleast liked their previous albums from the ones i listed as let downs. so they are only one in the whole. unlike tool and live i have now given up on them.0 -
Pavement's Terror Twilight
Fugazi's Steady Diet of Nothing
Red Hot Chili Peppers's One Hot Minute
Coldplay's X & Y

I thought Tiny Music, was a spectacular record, right up there with purple. Now No. 4 and the one after that were horrible in my opinion.E.
