This board has turned me on to some kick ass bands. Just wanted to ask some fellow jammers (w/ excentric tastes) WHAT ARE THE BEST BANDS I HAVEN'T HEARD??? Post links if you got em'

Lately I've been really in bands like:
Drive by Truckers
Kings of Leon
Gov't Mule

Thanks, all responses are appriciated :D

Nobody sits like this rock sits. You rock, rock. The rock just sits and is. You show us how to just sit here and that's what we need.
  • The John Butler Trio if you though know them yet. Toured with Gov't Mule a few years back and starting to get fairly big attention in the jam band circles.

You Am I . (if you haven't noticed freewheelin mentioning them on this board.) I love this great band.

Yeah, John Butler Trio - I love Zebra
They're playing Saturday @ the Seattle Bumbershoot Festival this year. That will be after two nights of Pearl Jam for me, so I won't be going.

EVERYBODY has heard of Faith No More.
Mike Patton is worshiped as some sort of vocal god.
One time I was trying to print a picture of me so I could give it to a friend to cheer him up after he was diagnosed with cancer, but the printer jammed, and my friend died.

Danko Jones, they've been around for a while, and still one of the most under-rated Canadian bands of today. I hear they're very well known in Europe though.
