All I can think of is Sleater-Kinney. Although I don't know if anything could measure up to the last weekend in Portland. God that was so, oh, words can't describe. Any S-K show is worth seeing though, even if their equipment malfunctions and Carrie reads to the audience, and they have S-K karaoke.
I'd pick the original Who as a #2 though. Oh! And Elliott Smith.if you wanna be a friend of mine

            Good question...
AIC is tempting (tho they're touring with a different singer now - anyone seen them? Any good? My bro saw them at Rock Am & said they were great, but he didn't really know them...)
...Also the Doors... but I think it'll have to be Faith No More!
(managed to see STP before they split...superb!)

I wonder if you ever could actually hear them play over the screaming girls????PJ Pook wrote:The BeatlesAll the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.0
