    R.E.M.- Accelerate
    Raconteurs- Consoler of the Lonely

    Both great albums.

what's up with everyone putting DBT on this list? I mean that album is a savage disappointment and a waste of time-and a lot of time since it's like 9 fucking hours long and features all of 4 good songs. It's so bad I almost skipped them at this fest I was at last month, they were good and played 3 of the 4 songs I liked of BTCD but still arggh they were soo good and now this.

    my list:
    radiohead
    Cons
    Born Ruffians
    Vampire Weekend
    beck
    gutter twins
    Flight of the Conchords

All 4 of these are definately great albums....
    Conversations getting dull
There's a constant ringing in my ears
Sense of humor's void and numb
    And I'm bored to tears.......
  • I would go with R.E.M. Accelerate. For now anyway.
i think i might agree, and i'm not a huge rem fan. but their live show was great and i enjoy listening to that album more than any other i recall purchasing this year. though beck, hold steady, mmj, and black crowes all delivered worthy efforts as well.

  • Russian Circles - Station
    Boris - Smile
Cult of Luna - Eternal Kingdom

Anybody else fans of these bands/albums? There have been a bunch of good albums out by bands I like but I can't narrow it down to one, those three are my favorites I think.
  • It has been a surprisingly good year so far...I remember people bemoaning the prospects earlier in the year, but i've bought some really good stuff.
Evil Urges or Brighter Than Creation's Dark get my vote though...I think. But Consolers has to be in the mix too....I hated the first Raconteurs album but love this one

From what I've heard of KOL's new stuff it will probably take the top spot. I am looking forward to the new Oasis as well
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
