Sigur Ros - With a Buzz in our Ears we Play Endlessly
Not quite the best album I bought in 2008 (that'll be Kimya Dawson's 'Remember that I Love You'), but it's very very close.
'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'
In no order.
Black Keys, Attack and release
MMJ, Evil Urges
Portishead, Third
Beck, Modern Guilt
Brazilian Girls, New York City
The roots, Rising Down
Raconteurs, Consolers
Mars Volta, Bedlam in Goliath
NIN, The slip
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V
I am pleased to say that I now have a NEW METALLICA album that I will be listening to for a while......and its been a long time coming. It's probably never going to make the first spot in my 2008 list of albums but it will be up there within sniffing distance
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow
They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

Nothing new but these albums were absolutely incredible for me. I also liked Blind Melon's and thought their singer fits in quite well in place of Hoon, but it wasn't incredible by any means.
