    Oh man ... Meat Puppets!?!?! Or ... tour this historically epic city's sights, see a cracked bell, an old piece of parchment or two, send a postcard to my wife and kids from Ben's post office, load up at Fox's and Megan's bookstores, drop a bill or two on a late lunch, say a certain Iron Chef's place....

    Yeah, I'm an old man with only five hours extra in Philly.....

    MEAT PUPPETS!!! Maybe I can find something to drop that bill on at that scene ;)

    I guess, I only wrote it 'cause I was setting myself for one of your 'funnies'... :lol:

    So we're gonna decide on Thursday night as far as train/Xterra as means to MP & back? That's ok, at least we have options I guess, my buddy said parking in the Septa lot around 11 is ok, sometimes people are leaving around then...and I'm now getting out of work early, so I'll be bellied up at the Waterford around 6ish hopefully...

    Soooooo, haven't on here in long time....damn, sounds like a lot of you guys will be swarming the area - good to know. If you want something close other than the Waterford, then hit up Cawley's on West Chester Pike - it's about a 15 minute walk down the Pike to the Tower. Then again, I'm just suggesting this so I have a seat at the Waterford. ;)

    And then the night goes from there...the usuals for a sloppy good time - Bob & Barbara's, Drinker's, so on and so forth...

    I am too, the xpn RSVP thing only says till 12:45 so I hope its longer, but then we just have time to pre-game and nuts around in the city before heading back to the Waterford! I'm pumped to see/meet new & existing PJ friends...hopefully Ed throws us a curve on a setlist in Philly! :mrgreen:

    Nah, it'll end promptly then. It's broadcast live on the radio, and they keep to a tight schedule. Also, try to get there early, as a big line forms outside the venue and they'll let non-ticket-holders in if the ticket holders show up late.

    It's a great venue, though -- have fun!

    I'm a total lurker on here, but i'm going to swing by the waterford... but i don't actually have tickets to fridays show. what do you locals think the chances of me finding a ticket?

    You're talking about the Free At Noon, right? I'm looking forward to it, too, since unless I somehow get a miracle pair of face-value tickets for EV, it will be the only show I see this week.

    do you guys think i'll have a tough time finding a single ticket to fridays show? either on the street or at a pre show gathering? i just need one and i don't really care where it is, i have good seats for thursday, just need to get in the door friday :)

    I think you should be OK. Keep an eye on the board Friday if you can, and if all else fails just stand in front of the box office line at around 7pm and there will people looking to dump extras at a discount.
