do you guys think i'll have a tough time finding a single ticket to fridays show? either on the street or at a pre show gathering? i just need one and i don't really care where it is, i have good seats for thursday, just need to get in the door friday
I think you should be OK. Keep an eye on the board Friday if you can, and if all else fails just stand in front of the box office line at around 7pm and there will people looking to dump extras at a discount.
yeah--you should be able to find a ticket...there were a few floating around her earlier, so keep checking!
Hey everybody. My friend and I are going to the show tomorrow night but we have a little problem. The only tickets we could get are separated quite a bit. We have one in Orchestra Left Row K and one in Upper Balcony Right Row O. How hard do you think it will be to find or trade for two seats next to each other? Any suggestions?
I can't wait to go tomorrow. Leaving right from work at 2:45( No extra help on friday's) pickin up my buddy and my eta is about 4:25. Checking into the marriot, and will stop by the hard rock for a few drinks(right next to my hotel), unless someone else can direct me to a cool bar in that area? I guess I am three block or so from South street and China town. Either way I am pumped (really wish i could go tonight too, but its just not happening since I called out of work last friday)
I used to be MILKwasAbadChoice...Now I am just FW46778...a math teacher in jersey
Dropped my husband off at the Terminal this morning ... the barriers are up on Ludlow in preparation for the trucks/bus. Welcome to Upper Darby, everybody. I hope you all have a great time!

Moriarty's or the Irish Pub - both at 11th & Walnut but on Walnut
I think I'll be rocking my No Code shirt with the setlist on it...hell, he'll play half of no code probably...so feel free to say hello, can't wait!!
I met my wife here...you can too! Don't lose hope!
Anyone know the parking situation around the venue? There must be a garage or 2?
Yeah, there's something behind the venue. But there's also a metered parking lot that doesnt charge at night, but it's kind of hard to describe where it's at if you don't know the area. But if you go down like the small back street it shouldn't that hard. Actually, the American Legion my dad belongs to around there has a parking lot. Come to think of it, I may park there now. Google it. Actually not a bad place to get a drink as well.
Thanks so much for the info! So it sounds like parking won't be an issue? And getting a drink at the legion is a splendid idea.
Yeah they might not let you in, but I hear they're letting anyone in these days. And there's the Waterford right next to the Tower. I would at least check into using the Legion's parking lot, but be discreet about it.
There's a lot is at Chestnut St and Garrett Rd (that's the free one, right?) ... from there just follow Ludlow straight down to the Tower.

It seems like there are going to be a bunch of people who have Friday during the day before the Eddie show to spend in/around Philly...Since there isn't an official pre-party due to the location of the Tower, I think it would be fun to try and meet up for lunch, or go somewhere during the day. Maybe end up at that bar near the Tower after...
Thoughts? Suggestions?
***UPDATE***
Some of us are going to the Meat Puppets show at noon...eventually making it back to the Waterford...if you want to try and meet up with us, PM me for my #!
i'm coming from NYC. I can't leave work too early... am I ok showing up close to the show for my 10c tix??? when do they conduct the lottery? what time does ed actually take the stage???
If i amtrak to center city, what is the best way to get to the venue? I have a friend who is meeting me. She can drive us from center city... but given possible traffic, and what i hear is a pretty awful parking situation... would it be BETTER to take the subway? My philly friend says taking the subway home late thru west philly is kind of a sketchy idea, and that maybe driving is "safer".
LOTS OF QUESTIONS. THANKS FOR THE HELP IN ADVANCE!!!
Hey everyone, just wanted to drop an FYI that someone in the TenClub with not such a great number is going to get upgraded to some quality seats Friday night.
I just got a new job (which is good news), the bad news is that it's keeping me in NYC tomorrow until about 8pm so obviously I can't make the show. I contacted TC earlier this week to let them know and that I understand that I won't be getting my money back but I want the tix to be used. They informed me that a TC member with a recent number will be getting upgraded.
I've had some people do some great things for me with PJ tix so I feel like I'm giving back a bit here. Good luck to those of you that go, hope one of you gets my tix. I'm a 166,xxx number by the way.
Enjoy!

If you're in the car by 4pm from 30th St station, you should be able to arrive and park at the Tower easily.
But the subway is super easy as well. At 30th St, just take the Market/Frankford subway line west to its end, which is 69th street, right at the venue.

Nice meeting a bunch of you at Waterford -- man, it was weird smelling smoke in a bar again; my eyes were burning -- and inside the venue. Can't wait to tee it up again tonight.

Perfect - exactly. If you go up 69th St. from the Tower, take a left at Chestnut and the lot will be right there on your left.
Meat Puppet's are playing noon time?
Then Vedder at night?
Great Friday night I must say!
