    lol...hosers! i haven't heard that one in a looong time! I am prepping myself for Friday's pregame...I have a really good feeling about that show :-)

    just made a reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn-Philadelphia at 1100 Arch Street. It's around 11th & Market. Room rate was $129/2 double beds.

    What about meeting at the Fieldhouse? Its a huge sportsbar and has good food.

    GREAT price for Center City BTW...Follow this link for a Bar that is good and close. Nice Beer selection, and good food (Chicken Tacos are very good...though the menu online doesn't show them- they don't update their webpage frequently)If you want any other suggestions, feel free to send me a PM. My wife and I go to many Restaurants and Bars in the City.

    I have no thoughts on the issue but would love to have something organised... where is the nearest bar in upper darby or even somewhere downtown.

    There's a bar right beside the venue called The Waterford Inn. It's a cross between a diner and dive bar, but gets the job done.

    If you're considering downtown, I'd check bars along the subway (SEPTA Market line), such as those near 2nd and Market. The subway will cost $2 and takes you right to the Tower. (You may or may not have to board a shuttle bus to get back to the subway on the way home, but that's a pretty minor hassle IMO.)

    I was there before the Wilco show last spring. The bar area itself was really crowded about an hour before the show, but me and a few friends easily got a table prior to that.

    Box Office Hours:
    Open on day of show at 4:00pm to sell tickets at the door if some are still available. Doors open 3 hours prior to showtime.

    But, Will Call may be open before that...No response when I called.

    Anyone driving from SW Ont.? what time are you leaving at and from where? I think I screwed myself and need to redo my plans - how much time should I be leaving if I'm going from London and want to have some drinks before hand?
