If it's re: the new H1N1 flu, I would take it very seriously. If anyone has ever read about the pandemic of the early 1900's, it sounds pretty scary. Let's hope whatever is coming from this new strain is not a repeat of that one!

Whilst i disagree with the government insisting everyone gets vaccinated, i have no issue with it for me personally. If i fail to to comply with the the vaccination requirements of my occupation, i don't have a job. It's that simple for me. I enjoy my work.

I'm convinced. No way would the Nazis lie to their citizens and feed them propaganda like the US does just to demonize an enemy. The US, of course, does nothing but lie to its citizens, but the Nazis... those were some stand-up guys. We can trust anything they have to say.

As to the swine flu, it's a huge crock of shit. If they tried some mandatory vaccination thing, I'd tell them to shove their vaccine up their ass, and then I'd be volunteering to represent for free the first person they tried to enforce this against.

back when i taught, i had to be up to date with my immunizations. c'est la vie. i wanted to teach, and so i did.


as to IF the govt requires some vaccination, obviously, the big IF is WHAt exactly is it for, and if i deem it safe/worthy, and the consequences of not getting vaccinated.

Edit: Just read through the article again and didn't seen anything stating MORE people died from it, but nonetheless, people died from the actual vaccine and many more suffered complications. So I stand by my original position of "count me out" for mandatory vaccination.

I get annual flu shots for free at work. I don't like anything that is mandatory... and I don't like people with the flu or colds coming to work. But, i don't like getting the flu more... mostly because i'm one of those men who turns into helpless babies when I get sick.
