Great idea! We should reserve a bar somewhere. 87 rooms and counting....what's that, 200+ people so far? Pitch in $5/person to reserve something?? Anyone from Chicago who knows the area??

The bars are great in Chicago. Rush and Division is a must stop. The Red Headed Piano Bar is great also.

Rush and Division would most likely be the closest "cheaper" place to congregate. There's a bunch of college type bars in that area. It wouldn't be a very expensive cab ride either from the hotel.

I think we need to come to a consensus as to whether or not people want to just hang out at the hotel bar after, or if they want to find someplace else. Personally, I'd take the hit of paying $6 for a Bud Light if it means I can just stumble over to an elevator afterward. You have to figure that the show probably won't end until like 11:30 anyway? By the time you get out of the UC and get moving towards another bar downtown, it's gonna be after midnight anyway. Doesn't seem worth the hassle to cab it someplace else and be out for only another 2 hours. Hell, if we're not really loud, it would be fun just to fill a tub full of ice and beer and hang out in people's rooms even.

Don't forget Chicago has bars that stay open until 4am...maybe a local can suggest something from this list (or somewhere else) that is convenient from the Hotel and the UC.

where would they sell those works of art?
  • Got the Hyatt for $60/night from Friday-->Monday. Thanks for passing along the amazing deal!..cant wait for the show! Flying in from CT for a great weekend. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

PS. My forum account got messed up during the merge a while back, so that is why it shows InsideJobTodayOld instead of InsideJobToday. Ten club is working on it though.
It's been about three days now since I've been aground.

I LOVE this idea. People with an open door policy. Everybody that is open to people just stopping by and hanging out, just leave your door open. I would love to just hang out with unfamiliar faces.

first post updated! 95 people!!! c'mon...5 more!! and I thought 50 was amazing...pfffffff!

a side note about the list...it's just a list of people's board names who are confirmed to be in the house. Some of those are rooming together, others are bringing several people along, so god only knows how many actual rooms/people we've got going on there, but either way it's fucking impressive!
