Hope you feel better! BTW, nice avatar...have you been in "Jerry's Palace" yet?
Thanks. No better today. Dammit.
No, I haven't been in it yet, but I've been to a few Ranger games and so drove up to it. Incredible. I'd like to take a tour of it.DAL-7/5/98,10/17/00,6/9/03,11/15/13

Firecloud wrote:weenie wrote:yes, the 10c area will be the front row because once gates open that morning, I'm not moving
I'm planning on the same thing. We can all watch out for each other's stuff for bathroom trips etc.
I hope people don't decide to mosh once PJ starts playing. Because I'm female, guys always knock me down and stuff - mainly because they're drunk and don't what they're doing. not fun.
cool, I'm sure those of us that are planning on camping out all day will be good friends by the end! lol Also, I doubt that PJ will have much moshing going on but I'd be concerned about that happening during the Clutch show that we will unfortunately have to sit through :(
I can't afford to follow the tour like the good old days (especially given the cost of tickets now), so this time I'll be riding the rail from the minute the gates open. See you guys there! If past experience has taught me anything, it's that the kindness of total strangers is crucial to your survival when you're up front all day. Karma's in overdrive when it comes to days like that.
Same here. I haven't been able to travel at all this year. And as to the kindness of strangers, that's oh so true.....along with the ability to lock arms and buddy-up when everyone else is pushing to get in your spot at the rail.
As far as getting there early goes, I'm running into problems with the opening time for parking, shuttles etc. Nothing opens until 10 (that I've seen) which means I can't be at the gate when it opens. And, I can't afford to cab it. I need to do some scouting around down there for weekend early-bird parking.~I want to realize brotherhood or identity not merely with the beings called human, but I want to realize identity with all life, even with such things as crawl upon earth.~

And by the way, Flagg....drink TONS of WATER. Feel better soon!~I want to realize brotherhood or identity not merely with the beings called human, but I want to realize identity with all life, even with such things as crawl upon earth.~

GET WELL SOON FLAGG!!!
I am so torn...I am gonna try and get upfront early with you guys. I will be there with my husband, 21 yr old son, my sister and husband and her 18 and 21 year old. None of them are crazy about PJ as I am and will no way do the all day thing at the stage...except maybe my kid, as he is too cool.
I'll just have to play it by ear to see if I can ditch them.
I haven't seen my sister for 2 years, though...
I might have to just hang back with them.It has been 3 years and 3 months since my last PJ show and damn it, I want to be in front with those that get it.
If, I can't...
I'll just have to go mad crazy in San Diego when I am w/o family and just with my best girlfriend.0 -

14 years later they finally return.
That was my first Pearl Jam show. I was pulled out of the pit twice. I remember it being hot as hell and having the security people spray us down with water hoses. Pitt was playing at Texas that Saturday afternoon. I left at halftime to make it down to the Meadows. First time I ever left a Longhorn game early.
Haha! I was front and center for that show from third to last Ramones song until the last PJ note. I think you kicked me twice in the head being pulled out of the pit!! haha! Hey y'all. Bring mosquito repellent. Since we've been having some rain (for the first time in 5 months) the skeeters are out big time. :?~I want to realize brotherhood or identity not merely with the beings called human, but I want to realize identity with all life, even with such things as crawl upon earth.~

OK, so here's my request. I'm an Austin native, but can't go to the show. However, I'd LOVE to get my hands on any Pearl Jam shirt that is specific to ACL, whether it's a sports shirt like they did on the last few dates or any official Pearl Jam shirt for the festival.
Would anyone be willing to pick one up for me?
I have the Target exclusive Backspacer shirt to trade, or from 2006, I have a San Diego or Philly II or LA I (Ames) poster to trade. Or I could just reimburse you for the shirt.
Anyone that helps me with this will be my new best buddy... haha
Thanks! PM me if you're willing to do this for me!Mesa 11/7/93 - Charlotte 10/4/96 - DC 6/14/98 - Raleigh 8/31/98 - Knoxville 9/6/98 - Columbia MD 9/18/98 - DC 9/19/98 - Columbia MD 9/4/00 - Phoenix 10/21/00 - Raleigh 4/15/03 - Phoenix 6/7/03 - Philadelphia 5/27&28/06 - DC 5/30/06 - Las Vegas 7/6/06 - San Diego 7/7/06 - LA 7/9&10/06 - Gorge 7/22&23/06 - Chicago 8/5/07 - PJ20 9/3&4/11 - Jacksonville 11/24/12 (EV) - Orlando 11/27/12 (EV) - Brooklyn 10/18&19/13 - Charlotte 10/30/13 - Memphis 10/14/14 - Ft Lauderdale 4/8/16 - Miami 4/9/16 - Jacksonville 4/13/16 - Hampton 4/18/16 - Chicago 8/20&22/160
