ACL ROLL CALL

  • Eh...I can hold my own through Clutch. I don't mind the moshing. I just get really claustrophobic and have to get out every now and then. If it is really bad...I need to be front and way to the left or right so I feel like I have an escape route.

I seriously wish they had drugs to fix me.

I might be late with this comment, but did everyone see that there will be an Ames booth? It's listed on the vendors page of the ACL site. Bring that plastic.......!! :D

Oh NICE! I did NOT see that...nice catch weenie! :)

And they have a post office right near those vendors, so you can ship your posters home instead of carrying them around all day.

Does anyone want to try to make an entire 10c area for the show? It would be nice to maybe meet up with each other and then enjoy the show. I am with 8 other people who TOTALLY don't get "it" and I will need support.

yes, the 10c area will be the front row because once gates open that morning, I'm not moving :)
I don't know if I can sit in the 10c area. When the band comes on I may not remember all the lyrics to sing along. :P

I won't be heading over to the stage until after Clutch plays. I'm sorry, but I just can't subject myself to that when so many other good bands are playing. Save room for me 10C!

Anyone going to see the Felice Brothers at Emo's?

    Five more days.

And I am stuck in Georgia for work and I think I caught the flu because I am sick as a fucking dog right now. Fuck me. This better go away soon. I am flying back to Dallas in two days and then driving to Austin.

I just drank a bunch of Nyquil and I am going to bed.

    F me. **cough**

I'm planning on the same thing. We can all watch out for each other's stuff for bathroom trips etc.

I hope people don't decide to mosh once PJ starts playing. Because I'm female, guys always knock me down and stuff - mainly because they're drunk and don't what they're doing. not fun.

cool, I'm sure those of us that are planning on camping out all day will be good friends by the end! lol Also, I doubt that PJ will have much moshing going on but I'd be concerned about that happening during the Clutch show that we will unfortunately have to sit through :(

I can't afford to follow the tour like the good old days (especially given the cost of tickets now), so this time I'll be riding the rail from the minute the gates open. See you guys there! If past experience has taught me anything, it's that the kindness of total strangers is crucial to your survival when you're up front all day. Karma's in overdrive when it comes to days like that.
