I know we don't have to tell you that times are tough all over, but we are all such goofy freaks for PJ, let alone live PJ, and I'm sure many of us have less to spend willy-nilly, therefore planning is more critical than ever before.
So thanks for coming to the left coast, which is my neck of the woods. I'll see you at OLF, and (fingers crossed) maybe the band will return to a little bit of heaven on earth, known as "The Santa Barbara Bowl". You know we love them here, and I'm thinking maybe they love it there, too.
The band would like to let you know that there are tentative plans to play a number of shows in the Western U.S. In the early fall. Please keep checking pearljam.com for the latest official news.
This is all the info Simone/whitepants needed to know. Now. thx.

Awesome news! Thank you for sharing this ahead of time. Now I just have to decide whether to save up and head to the left coast.
Seeing visions of falling up somehow.

Thanks for the info! who is Rubysdad? as excited I am for the West Coast shows, there is nothing that would have been able to stop me from getting the Chi-town seats yesterday, you could have promised me Pearl Jam is playing in my town on my birthday and I still would have scored the Chi-town seats....you feel it bro?
XO
PEARL JAM in 2024! Dark Matter and MORE ! THANK YOU!! Peace Love & Pearl Jam forever!!
All the people that so aggressivley moan here: please note how polite and helpful 10C are to you at all times. Some people need to take that attitude on board themselves.
I have never been to the west coast. I would love to see a show out there.
Yes, do come enjoy the Western wide open...just got Chicago tix, and now hopefully will be able to catch a show near home in the fall.
Great news, thanks for postign Rubysdad

A little late to the thanks for info party, but thanks for the heads up. Hopefully this will help settle some of the anger that has sprung up recently.
This is exciting news b/c if I'm going to travel (since no east coast show speculation) I'd love it to be to the West in the fall. Thanks PJ & Rubysdad for the heads up, & the ability to at least kinda plan.
hopefully the announcement wont be for another few weeks, which should give me enough time to payoff the damage i did to my credit card yesterday for the shows tickets, booking flights and hotels...
....just to redo the damage west coast style!
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...
Thank you PJ for your thoughtfullness! Much appreciated. And for all you complainers, they did exaclty what you asked, so no more complaining! This is the greatest band in the world and they treat us wonderfully, let's return the favor!
Pearl Jam is busy planning out the remainder of the year, but beyond the Europe shows, the 2 U.S. Festival appearances, and the Toronto and Chicago shows, nothing has been confirmed to date. The band would like to let you know that there are tentative plans to play a number of shows in the Western U.S. In the early fall. Please keep checking pearljam.com for the latest official news.
YAY!!!! This is the best news I've heard all year! (PS - Please play Seattle! A real show!)
Would it be logical to expect a West Coast swing immediately after Outside Lands?
NO
They will do the Outside Lands warm up shows (Toronto and Chi-Town) then San Fran then off for 2-3 weeks and kick in the little mini fall tour starting in Texas with multiple shows including the Festival then go far west up the coast ending in Seattle mid-late October.

Sounds possible. If that happens, I would expect another appearance at Bridge School this year as well. It's been a few years.
