After my trip to austin this weekend, I will preach every beer that Austin Beerworks makes... they were all incredible. Peacemaker was absolutely fantabulous.... Wish they distributed as far as Houston... :( ... Peacemaker would definitely be my new default beer.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

I ate the pumpkin ales. I think Oktoberfest's come out too early, and disappear way too soon.

Just picked up the first ever bottling from Buffalo City Brewing at the liquor store this morning... very small release of Smoke on the Bayou (it's a really cool concept, all the malts in the beer are smoked at 3 famous Houston BBQ places)...

The brewery is like a 10 minute walk from my house and they make some epic stuff, check it out...

They've been selling kegs to all the local establishments for over a year and a half now, and this is their first ever bottling... can't wait to see how it ages. :D

Yummy - Ale w/ Spices - very dark and rich - can't wait to have another!
    PROST!
Will be interesting to see what this puppy tastes like a year/2 yrs/ etc from now. Low carbonation - but extremely rich and flavorful.
Delightful and I highly recommend...Am curious what they will be pairing it with Tues eve...

Couple of my favorite local (DC) establishments recently got a few kegs of BCS, just the "standard" one I guess -- it didn't have any of the flavors you mention. Oh man, amazing. Totally up to the hype and worth the $1.20/oz pricetag.

I've bought loads of Christmas Ales lately...

    TinsAle
    Mr Snowballs
    Bah! Humbug
    Sulwath Brewery Reinbeer
    Santa's Swallie
    etc

I cant remember half of them... Waiting until Friday 21st before I open up the first one :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I packed my bag last night to head up to Newfoundland for the holidays...

My girlfriend was laughing at me, as I was packing beers to take with me...

Unfortunately there's not a lot of craft available in my small town canada... so I cleaned out a lot of the fridge... 6 bottles are packed in the bag... none of which I've had before.... and I know I'm still going to come up short for the amount of drinking I'm going to do during the holidays... planning on taking with me:

    Saint Arnolds 2012 Sailing Santa
Buffalo Bayou Smoke on the Bayou (going to send the local brewer a pic of my drinking it in Canada, as it will be the furthest his beer has gone to date)
1 of my 2 remaining bottles of the last batch of DFH Pangea
    Karbach Fra-Gee-Lay
    Jester King Buddha's Brew
    The Bruery 5 golden rings

I hope they all make it in 1 piece :?

That would be a lot of $ lost if they break or my bag goes missing!

So the beer made the first of my 2 travel legs intact! yeah! (had to pick up the beer to clear customs)... keeping my fingers crossed for the second half.

On a side note.... glad to see mill street opened a restaurant in YYZ! used to drink their stuff all the time when I lived in T.O, but forgot how good it was until I just had a couple of glasses! :D
