    Have fun across the pond.
    what's doubtful?
the apologies (at criticising a stupid policy) or the US members not being allowed to buy our tickets?

but I don't think it's Ed... the more I thought about it and the more I believe PJ has to do the Europe dates Jeff was talking about before the US dates (that we 'know' will be between SF and ACL)... October is normally too cold and rainy in Europe for outside shows (which is the only couple rumours so far are.)

So PJ in late July-early August is what I'm expecting (jumping ACL announcement doesn't matter if they're only announcing Euro dates)... but of course I'll take whatever

and the US dates will be announced soon after, don't you worry.. (I've got my fingers crossed for a B'day show :P..San Diego or Gorge would be perfect)

    Oooh, exciting! :)

Hope the announcement is on Monday - typically, this is the first time in months that I have left my laptop at work over the weekend, and I won't have one to borrow on Sunday! Argh!

I too think (hope) Europe... time will tell!

I vote that it's just Ed (I think the UK/Europe part is a no-brainer) -- seeing as how he'll have his touring gear bundled up to get it out to Hawaii, might as well just keep it moving once he leaves Hawaii?

  • I hope it is just Ed solo shows in Europe and not the full band. I hope Pearl Jam tours the USA and Canada before heading off to Europe for a tour. You got to think that they will be touring the USA between their August appearance in SF and October appearance in Austin Texas...right? ;)
I totally agree with you. I really hope its not Pearl Jam dates being announced that I couldnt go to anyway. Thats being selfish of me. SOrry. I hope he just plays Europe solo because they have yet to see him solo. Hopefully a short little stint. Then back to the real business at hand. New album, new WORLD TOUR!!!

Just a little off the topic though. How cool would it be if Pearl Jam did a US tour sometime where they played at least one show in every state? Even include Washington, DC & Puerto Rico. Hell, Why not play all the US owned territories. US Virgin Islands, US Samoa etc.

Admittedly I am pretty new to the Ten Club but isn't it possible that whoever clued the Ten Club personnel into the soon to come announcement may have just come back from Europe or somewhere and this doesn't really have anything to do with the location of the tour? Hopefully. I live in the Midwest U.S.
Since you're new, let me fill you in. The "tweets" are generally cryptic, but provide hints as to what's going on. For example, for the EV East Coast tour for this leg, it stated that birds enjoy to go into the wild, or something along those lines. I'd say if the little birdy flew from across the pond, that's totally relevant.

Maybe the band talked with their families and came together and agreed on living in Italy (aka "the tree") meaning maybe an olive tree. Where they experience a different culture and art in their long term pursuit of being human beings and enjoy a different surrounding than ours in the States. Still being involved in their personal activism and getting a different point of view from a more worldly voice. Temporarily.

And the beautiful people who live in that part of the world will be lucky to be first in line to hear the upcoming record. And so much more. Is anyone mad yet?

Finally, did anyone catch the sound quality in the arenas, cathedrals and alleys when they shot their DVD in Italy?

    Just a theory.

Ah, crazy Torontonians... "across the pond" is mentioned, therefore PJ must be playing the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto :D
That'd be great though.. otherwise, it's looking like I won't be getting my PJ fix this year.
