    Theres a lot of nonsense in here.

    Its an extremely rare artefact, and the value has been clearly assessed on the open market. Its like saying The Mona Lisa is only worth 10 quid because you could get an artist to do a perfect reproduction for around that, but no its $100mill's worth.

    This this was put out by the artists in the same way, by themselves before they were famous, they hand wrote the discs and the sleeves of the other variant. Is it worth $1600?? clearly yes, because people bid that much.

    But to confirm the recording is identical to that released except for a few extra seconds between some of the tracks that must have been tidied up before release.

    Other than that absolutely the same.

    Ib guess all those who don't get this also wouldnt get the blue V's value either? given of course its identical to the normal V's vinyl?

    I would be willing to bet that if you owned one of these, your opinion on it would be a little different? :-) Easy to say it is nuts and all this bs about common sense and all, but as it has been stated, people will find this more valuable than others. This is one of the rarest, and most significant pcs of early pj whether you or anyone else gets it or not. The story behind it, what it means and all that go along with it. If I had the $$ I would gladly pay whatever amount it was going for to have in my collection. This to ME is no different than a classic car, a historic baseball or something to that effect. DEF my favorite of EVERYTHING I own.

    and a hint if you would want one, the sleeves reeenks come in can be found almost perfect in the tone Cd... ;)

    good luck reproducing the disc though....

    oh and final word, this thing is valueless to me, its never leaving my possession. If I could get the band to sign it to Paul and totally ruin its value I wouldnt even think twice.

    and I know scott has already got his signed....

    i was one of those people saying it was crazy to pay 300 for the poland promo...BUT this is totaly different ..for one that poland promo thing WAS VEREY SKETCHY .....the guy had about 100 other "promos"...from a 100 other artest... and ill have to say there was no "value" to that promo..i dont see it EVER being worth anything ..NOW THE REEENK CD is something on a hole other level... i can totaly agree with the 1600-2600 price range...i see that is being the most valuable "link" to a PEARL JAM COLLECTION...a music historians' collection.ETC>>ETC.t...you know what im saying???...it has a ALOT more value to ALOT more people... and the fact that there is so little of them makes its more valuable ....

    side note i know a guy who works for sony/epic...he has those vitalogy JD bottles...i have been askin hiim FOR YEARS TO SELL THEM TO ME.....he keeps them on his desk..he opened one of the bottles (birth of son) and the other is still SEALED ....i know for a fact he will give them to me SOONER OR LATER....its just the matter of time and what i have to do to get them....im a home builder ......and hes looking to build a new house..........put one and one together...ill already told him i would work for FREE for 3 weeks..(est $3500). he said he has to tthink about it.....that was about a year ago....i still talk to him and still ask for the bottles..

    I understand what you say but that Polish guy has been in the promo business a long long time, and I know a lot of people who have bought from him (i Have too), and his stuff is genuine. I bet you dont see more than 3 more of that promo - hence it has to worth $300 - for no other reason than supply and demand, there are a lot of PJ collectors out there and they'll all want one. so there are not enough to go round. If the UK watermarked version is worth £260 alone then the Polish one is worth more, simply because there have been at least 10 of the Uk one hit ebay already. The same for the Uk Brother watermarked CD, it has a ridiculous value, but its because the collectors want it for their collection. So to conclude the Poland CD wasnt so over value IMHO

    Now we definitely agree on the Reeenk, that really is a piece of history.

    Those JD bottles are the dogs nuts. They are up there in my top 3 items, and I scoured the world for them. I hope you get them. Has he got the basketball hoop too?
