Hell no! Boston fan here, an I'm hanging in even without the Big Ticket. Cleveland is certainly a strong team this year, I think their chances are well within reach, and hey. I wouldn't be too bummed, LeBron is a hell of a basketball player, so I would be happy for him to get a ring so soon in his career. I don't think LeBron has seen his peak yet...take Paul Pierce for example...how long has he been in the league? He's hung on with Boston for the whole time, and just last year finally succeeded and became a much bigger star than he ever has been :)

LeBron is great, but what's with the chalk thing? did the WWE and NBA collide?
    7/2/06 - Denver, CO
    6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
    8/23/09 - Chicago, IL
9/28/09 - Salt Lake City, UT (11 years too long!!!)
    9/03/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 1
    9/04/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 2
  • Some of LeBron's antics are annoying I agree but I think he does these things for the fans entertainment, I wish they would take more of a buisness-like approach instead of acting like goofs on the sideline but it's all part of the show.
As a Cavs fan I was both happy and dissapointed about KG, I wanted to beat the Celts with him in there, but that looks doubtful now, the guy is a beast. Not a real big Ray Allen fan(even before he elbowed Andy), seems too streaky as a shooter. Paul Pierce is a hell of a player, but I don't think he'll take them too deep in the playoffs.
If the Cavs make it to the finals I give the Lakers the edge but you never know.

As much as I'd like to see Boston repeat. I think your prediction of LA and Cleveland is right on. Regardless, that will be an excellent series. Phil Jackson has the proof of history tos how that he is an excellent coach. I'm not sure what Clevelands head coach's name is, but he's obviously got something up his sleeve that he knows how to use, and LeBron is a great team captain.

I agree though, I've been disappointed how basketball has become such a glamour and designer-clothing style sport lately. What I mean by that is a lot of these players act like hot shit off, and even on the court. The bling, the arrogance, the making rap singles thing. I don't know, it's probably just my picky ass but I miss the days of humble basketball...

an Finals with the Lakers will be fun

Not trying to be a Laker hater but I think the Blazers, Nuggets, and even Rockets can give them a tough match up in the West.

Sucks not to have KG in the lineup but the Celtics are still a very good team. That whooping in Cleveland was bad, so hopefully they are motived by that!

    Go Celtics!!!!!!!!

Oh by the way, thanks to Philly for NOT letting Cleveland tie Boston's '86 home record 40-1. ;)

Hell yes! I'm with you on that! LA has some tough competition between those three teams. I just want Boston to hang tough and prosper. We need another Celtic dynasty badly.

Rose played a heck of a game but losing at home is unexceptable.

    wow.

  • another huge cavs fan here, and today just proved why i was so happy when we didnt draw the bulls in the first round. they have too many players that can go off at any given moment and take over a game. derrek rose was unstoppable, and ben gordon showed up huge in the 4th. that is a very dangerous team

Yeah, what a tough loss in Boston. Ray Allen cannot afford to have a slow playoff start like he did last year!
Rose was a monster and Rondo was just as great! Now we need to win in Chicago!

I guess the only thing that will make me a little happier if the Jazz win in L.A. Go Jazz, beat LA!

Am I the only one who found this hilarious?? KG has been doing that for YEARS before Lebron was even in the league.

    wow.

Ageed, that wasn't a pretty sight...I think I underestimated Chicago in this series. Well, I'm about to switch on the triple header I recorded today. i expect to hear Utah lost...and I probably won't be suprised. We've got a motto here for the Jazz and it's called "so close, yet so far"

I like Denver for the West this year too...

I'm going to see game 4 of LA and Utah on Saturday...it's a good thing you didn't leave that task up to Utah...they may win this second game at home, but they'll most likely choke back in LA...that's the story of their life...

I want the Lakers in round 2

Looks like the Cavs are already in round 2. I hope that the Jazz will win game 4 and hopefully put them to the brink of elimination, what the heck I hope they send the Lakers into summer vacation!!
  • Cavs look to close it out today.

Celtics bounced back nicely the other night,Bulls looked completly lost. They had that series in there hands and screwed it up.

Yeah but they still haven't had an answer for Rondo. He's working on a triple double in Game 4.

Rondo has 25, 11, and 9 with only 1 turnover.
Rose's numbers are good but he also has 7 turnovers.

9 seconds left, RAY ALLEN ties the game up at 96-96. :D:)

    WE'RE GOIN OVERTIME, BABY!

Yeah, fucking Ben Gordon had to tie it up with a 3 in OT! :x

BOSTON should have won this one...now tied up at 2, going back to Boston for game 5.
