Yea! I like it...this is the first time I've gotten fan club tickets in a very long time, except for Hartford last year, which took days to sell out.

Hell no! I would rather stick my tongue to a frozen flag pole, scratch my nails down a chalkboard, or prick my eyeballs with a sewing needle than deal with this lottery shit again. Just my worthless two cents...
1994: Pensacola, Memphis 1995: New Orleans 1996: Charleston 1998: St. Louis, Kansas City, Knoxville 2000: Memphis 2003: Nashville, Atlanta, Little Rock 2004: St. Louis 2006: Chicago (I & II) 2009: Chicago (I & II) 2010: St. Louis 2014: St. Louis, Memphis 2015: NYC (Global Citizen Festival)
Also, I know it would be complicated to implement from a technical standpoint, but some consideration shoule be given to those who have the opportunity to attend a show in their home city. Kinda seems shitty for someone who lives in City A, gets rejected for lottery tix in City A but does get tix in City B which is 250 miles away. Just another thought.

they don't even have to consider the question for the full band tour since those are way bigger venues than these. No, it really wouldn't work for the band.
I have no patience for bad music and stupid people...

Personally I like what the 10C did for the 2008 tour. Even though I sat up front prior to the 2008 tour, I like the lottery system for rows 1-2 and 8-9, it gives everybody a shot to be close.

I hate how they handled the rollover shows. It should have been something more like: If you don't get selected for night 1 (or your 1st selection) you will be entered in a second lottery for the rollover show. Also, if you do get selected for your first choice show, there should be an option to not be entered in the rollover show lottery.
I didn't select the rollover show because of the way they had it set up. I did not want to get stuck with $320 worth of tickets to two shows that are exactly the same. I need my money to see as many PEARL JAM shows as I can this year!!
"I've got things to do and things to say in my own way..."
For PJ tours ... definitely NO
For small venue Ed Ved solo shows .... definitely YES
For the record, I won tickets but I think this is the most fair method regardless. Technically Ten Club doesn't have to do anything for members on EV solo tours. This gives Ten Club members a random (i.e. fair) shot at good EV tickets. Since they do the lottery before the public sale, those members who weren't picked still have the opportunity to get tickets. However, I can't see how this system could possibly work for the large arena shows of a full PJ tour. I do think they should keep the random Ten Club ticket lottery for front row seats at these shows though.
Not unless the band also does small venue shows, which would be amazing if you got a ticket and terrible if you didn't.
oh man, can you imagine if they played the Beacon in NYC!!
i would do anything to be there
you're being sarcastic right? (got to ask since 10c seems to deny the very existence of that show on July 1st last year..so maybe you didn't hear about it..)
oh and: NO FUCKING WAY!
only lottery we need is the one for rows 1-2 and 9-10.
No. I have a high ten club number and as much as I would love to sit closer, this is a bad idea. I do like the lottery of the 1st, 2nd, 9th and 10th row upgrades though. But this last EV lottery would be a terrible idea for a PJ show.
but I still say nay. This is fine for the small/special shows.
I thought the last tour was good with the lottery for the 1st 2 rows & 9 and 10. And you can purchase 10c tickets to as many shows you want no matter where you want.
The "home show" idea kinda stinks. My "home" is 430 miles away from where I am 95% of the time.
Nay. I'd like something similiar to Metallica's system where you get a unique Tickemaster pre-sale password in your profile and it's good for each show with a 2 or 4 ticket limit. You can actually pick your seats and in order to cut down on scalping, you have to pick up at will-call. The seats are generally fantastic as well.

absolutely YEA to this idea. :!:
Why is it better to use Ticketmaster more than they already do? I'm not debating/challenging the point; I'm actually asking, because lots of folks here seem to hate Ticketmaster (and using ticketmaster) enough as it is.
I've never been through a 10club presale (other than this EV one, which I lost), so I can't really vote/opinionate either way.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

I definitely don't think it's fair that some members also got picked for rollover shows . :x
