The official announcement was scheduled for 9am Pacific on the official Outside Lands Festival site. Please do not hold the eager leakers against the Ten Club. The honor of announcing belonged to the Festival. :)

I Keed, I Keed....I know the festivals want/deserve the right to officially announce their lineups themselves. I will, however, expect a personal text message stating all PJ tour dates from today through 2055...I do pay $20 a year, so I expect this level of service.

Also wondering will there be some non-festival shows.

    Thanks for the update.

    Keep the good news coming.

How big is this compared to Bonarroo or Lolla (crowd wise)?

Even if they play Austin City Limits ... Outside Lands appears to be their first show in over a year, they certianly need a warm up show, right? It's not the craziest idea out there.

Way smaller, Roo had some 90K rushing to see PJ while GG hold only some 65

festival had about 50-60k there with Radiohead ...

hopefully they will get the first year kinks ironed out ... I went last year, there were a few issues, but, it was their first attempt, overall, I had a great time.

word to the wise, be prepared for any weather ... 70-80s during the day ... 50s and cold at night.

I'm guessing night 1 (Friday) but I suppose I don't really have anything to back that up..

The only reason I'd agree with this ... last year's poster listed "Radiohead, Tom Petty, Jack Johnson" ... and that's how they headlined on Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

this year the poster states "Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, Beastie Boys" ... and we know DMB is on Saturday.

So ... it appears to be Friday.
