    hitchock was pissed.said they lost a game earlier because of a play like that..
    anyhoo. go wings :D
    Bah, don't be too hard on the guy. An instinctual reaction that backfired. You won't see him make that mistake again.

    Yeah, I guess I can't really attack him as a player, because he was trying to help his team, but what a bummer for the Jackets and their fans. Before that goal it was tied at 1-1, and after, it was like they just fell apart.
    I completely agree. He probably hasn't slept since. Stupid move, but it happens.
  • If Roberto Luongo plays like he did last night the Canucks are going to be hard to beat.
    {if (work != 0) {
    work = work + 1;
    sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
    else if (work >= 0) {
    reality.equals(false);
    work = work +1;
    }system("pause");
    return 0;}

    Huge win for the Rangers to take a 2-0 series lead. Can they actually win this series?

    thankful the devils lost last night, but man was that a snoozer. one of the most boring playoff games i've seen in a while.

    Nice bounce back win for my Canes last night. They split on the road and come back home for 2. Can't wait to get to the RBC Center tomorrow night for Game 3.

    Wasn't the plan to get the Bruins to take penalties? You can't blame the refs and Price completely, the B's have played well, except for the start of the 2nd.

    No, not completely. We have absolutely no defense or goaltending.
    I can blame the refs for only looking one way for two games, but I'm getting used to that.

    Thomas with an assist and Bergeron 5 for fighting, who have thunk it. excellent game.

    That Flames-Hawks series is great. Hopefully Calgary can pull out the home wins to keep it going. I love to see the Canadiens get their shit handed to them as well (on the scoreboard and by Patrice Bergeron of all people -- hope he didn't break a nail in that scrap). Pretty good start to the playoffs.

    How have those Wings games been (if anyone has made it through an entire Wings game yet)? Lots of neutral zone turnovers, power play goals and general lack of entertainment, I assume? Datsyuk, Filipula and Kronvall still "knocking the shit" out of people -- lol?

    since '88! :) bourque was my idol. a team player, on & off the ice. greatest defensemen i've seen. his killer slap shot's, his 3 for 4 accuracy hits at the all start games, the man was .. THE MAN!! neely too was one of my favorite player. when bourque left for colorado, it was a sad moment. but i routed where ever he went, but the bruin's team blood was with me. when bourque retired, i kinda retired the sport of hockey. focused all my passion on music (pearl jam) & my charities, fundraisers etc..

    during the playoff's, i will alway's route for the bruins .. no matter wait.

    to the habs that lost today, say your pray's! it's gonna be a sweep, D style! :mrgreen:

    Dominating performance by the Red Wings yesterday.
    But it shouldn't be a surprise.
    Mason is a great goalie ,but it is his first playoffs.

    What the hell was Ovie thinking when he stepped into KING HENRIKS KINGDOM?

    But seriously, Lundqvist has been absolutely incredible. If we can hold on to this momentum and Henrik beats Thomas in that series...he should win the Veniza.

    Blocking shots is exactly what they need to do this whole series, they know they won't win the offense battle and just do what all great teams have done: sit back and wait on a mistake

    But you know who's pissing me off? Zherdev. The caps were putting so much pressure on and they needed to get it out of the zone. Zherdiev has the puck past the red line and puts no effort in the clearing, and as a result the caps kept the pressure up and the Rangers got caught on the change.

    Rangers should be fine. The Canes are going to be interesting to see if they sweep the home games, which would be sick, fuck the Devils. Luongo has been a beast, changing my impression of being over-rated but lets see if he keeps it up.

    Great post D. Yeah, I'm a B's fan as well so I'm kinda biased. And I totally feel the sweep, D style, will happen. the only sucky part is if it happens they will win the series in Montreal. Personally, I wouldn't be at all pissed if they *cough* "lost" *cough* Game 4 so they could come back home and win it in front of the Boston fans.
    He who forgets will be destined to remember.

    They looked in way over their heads yesterday. I'm hoping after that shellacking, they will go back to their own barn with a renewed sense of pride. If they want to stay in this series, they will have to score early on to keep the crowd in the game. I want the Red Wings to win this and to repeat, and I think they will, but I want Columbus to give us their best game. I don't think we've seen it yet.
